Your thermostats are capricious. When trying to change temperature setting, the reading of ambient temperature immediately rises or lowers to that level. When there is the slightest power outage of a few seconds, the thermostat needs to be reset to function at all. Also, it goes offline at arbitrary times. So, controlling temperature from a distance is an iffy thing . So, no, we are not happy.

It took well over a month for your company to fix the issue that kept my system from being accessible on line. The response from Carrier was ridiculously slow and incompetent. Now that it finally is accessible on line, the fact that if I want to be on a schedule but can only choose from four temperatures is dumb. With my nest I could set a temp for each time of the day if I wanted to and I could set it to be very different from day to day. Now I have to set my wake, home, sleep, away temps and those are my only settings. I would like to be able to fine tune my temps a lot lot more than that.

Although very complex and I am still learning the ins and outs of this unit, I love it. Although complex, it is more straight forward that the Ecobee unit. I chose the white background with the black unit and find that it doesn't create a distraction on the wall in my formal room.

4. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
