I have two thermostats, one for my upstairs and downstairs units. I have already submitted one review with detailed information on how poorly the apps that supposedly can control the devices do not work. As mentioned in that review, I received an message today from Carrier on installing an update that will increase performance and features using the apps. Yet when I went into the two Carrier home apps I downloaded last year when I paid almost $33,000 for the system, I found all of the information I uploaded is gone. It was there last week when I had the contractor return to fix noise issues coming out of my two brand new furnaces and ductwork. I will have to once again call your technical group to figure out why the applications, which I am stuck with because I chose Carrier, again failed to work. In fact in one all of my information I entered in the past is gone. And when I try to open the other, all I get is a Carrier ad page. It will no longer even let me get into the app! Very discouraging, and I certainly will not be recommending another to go with Carrier in the future.

I am so sorry I went with Carrier for my total HVAC replacement last year. While I have been working with my contractor to fix noise and other issues, your Carrier thermostats (I have two, one upstairs and down) are poor to marginal in their performance. Why I have given the total performance as a 2 or poor to fair is that the apps that come with it DO NOT WORK! The data I entered into them when I bought the units in late June 2024 disappears regularly. Today I went into both apps as I received a message that there is yet another update that will improve features and performance, and have found I CANNOT get off the CARRIER AD FOR HOW GOOD YOUR PRODUCTS WORK! I will now have to call your technical group or my contractor once again to figure out how to retrieve my data or will have to re-enter it once again. These two air conditioners, furnaces, coils, and thermostats put me back almost $33K. I may never go with another Carrier product again.

Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
