I didn't have a choice on the product. Had to with the HVAC system I got. Stick with your Ecobee or Nest.

We bought this system for the multistage so we could keep the humidity lower without having to have it too cold in the house. It does not do that, we have to keep it too cold to get the humidity below 55% and we still have to keep the whole house dehumidifier going. Seems like the new refrigerants can’t do as good a job as Freon, no matter how advanced they are system is.

4. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
