Love the simplicity of this controller. Easily navigate the functions and love the online feature for controlling while away for a period of time; vacationing, business trip, or weekend getaway. Having said that, I rated 4 stars because in the event of a storm outage, the online feature doesn’t reset itself. It does come back to its working capacity but will not go online so I can resume control. It needs to be reset in the home manually. I wish there was a way to get the controller back online when I am not near my home.

The infinity control system is like an old fashion programmable thermostat with a nicer display. The app is terrible to interact with. Setting hold times for temps should be a thing of the past. The app doesn’t integrate with things like home kit. Doesn’t have a method for home and away detection. Only allows for limited temp profiles. As someone who works from home I find myself often times having to adjust the tempurate manually. Find this to be a constant need. It’s also very hard to do things like set up vacation profiles from the app or thermostat it self. Humidy control often times seems to be broken.
Aggravating lock-in

Being locked in to this deeply subpar experience after having an ecobee thermostat is extremely frustrating. It’s not easy to use. The UI is ugly. The phone app is terrible. And no Apple Home integration. If I had known how bad this system was, I wouldn’t have bought this heat pump.

4. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
