How to Connect Your Thermostat App to Wi-Fi
Follow these simple steps to connect your Carrier SmartHome account and home thermostat app to your home's Wi-Fi network:
- Download the Carrier SmartHome app. Install the app on your iOS or Android device, then create a new account or sign in with your existing Carrier SmartHome credentials.
- Prepare your thermostat. At the physical wall-mounted thermostat, open the network or Wi-Fi settings and select your home's Wi-Fi network from the list of available connections.
- Pair your thermostat. Once the thermostat is connected to Wi-Fi, open the Carrier SmartHome app and select the option to add a new device. Scan the QR code displayed on the thermostat or provided during setup to securely pair it with your account.
- Confirm the connection. After pairing is complete, your thermostat will appear in the home thermostat app, allowing you to remotely adjust temperatures, create schedules, receive alerts, and manage your home's comfort from anywhere.
