Does not seem to be the same quality as it used to be

I removed two 24 year old Trane units and the two installed units run longer and cannot keep the temperature as well. I am spending almost 25% more in electricity over the same period last year. These were supposed to be more efficient. On top of that, I already had one compressor replaced under warranty. I expected better after installing Carrier in multiple houses without much issue

Unit has worked flawlessly during this current air conditioning season. I needed to procure new unit due to regulations and get a currently legal refrigerant. Last compressor lasted 20 years.

The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
