Unit works great but I purchased it to get a 2-speed motor and the energy savings. However, it seems to run in high-speed all of the time. It looks great but is kind of noisy. I think it sounds like a flying saucer with a drone/whine which is kind of wierd. I will be happy if it never leaks, never breaks, and runs good for 20 years+.

Installed 9/25 and have had to add refrigerant twice already. Not getting the comfort expected and condensation pipes were not replaced and are now leaking which reduces comfort.

26TPA8 is a wonderful system with dual stage compressor, and variable speed furnace. I work from home and during the day can’t barely tell that it’s on sometimes. Electric bill was also cut in almost half. Yes, would definitely recommend this system 👍
