Excellent Furnace

I purchased the Infinity 98 in the fall of 2025 based upon the dealer's recommendation (a dealer I'd have prior experience with and trusted), along with my own research of this furance, and previous customer reviews. It is everything others and now myself agree with. It's extremely efficient, quite, and has a great warranties should you ever need it. I highly recommend the Carrier Infiniy 98.

The performance last winter in Cleveland was excellent. It exceeded my expectations. On the downside a product this expensive should have a labor warranty longer than two years.
Sadly disappointed. We have another Carrier unit and have been very pleased with it. But the new one does not heat properly.

We have had to have the installer out several times as this unit does not seem as effective as the 15 year old furnace we had replaced. In extreme cold weather this winter, it would not heat to the thermostat setting and dropped to below 60 degrees on at least two days and was usually 6 degrees below the 68 degrees we had it programmed to run. There also seems to be a lot of condensation in our basement now that it is warmer, which did not have in the past.

Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.

This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
