System makes whining and humming noises. Installers have been out to look at over 5 times and make adjustments. One technician, said the system was overheating. I asked for it to be changed and it was not. Another technician came out and said I needed to cut another return vent in the house. I asked if other new homes had 3 or more return vents and he said no! A third technician came out and make some adjustments but the system is still humming and noisy. The reason I choose this system is not listed below. It's a new built home and the builders use Carrier for their HVAC system.

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.

This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
