Comfort HVAC 16 Air Conditioner

I replaced an aging, underperforming furnace with a Carrier system and have been very pleased with the results. The unit operates quietly, heats the home evenly, and provides much more consistent comfort than my previous system. I chose Carrier because of its reputation for quality, efficiency, and reliability. So far, it has exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering an HVAC upgrade.

I got this ac in December 2025 so it didn’t get a good workout until this summer. It cooled my home beautifully and efficiently so through summer on the Texas Coastal Bend. I’m very pleased with the unit!
Problem from day one

The Dealer said this air condition is energy efficient. This unit is not energy efficient. They sold me unit that is not energy efficient. I have been having problems from the first time this unit was installed at my home.
Water Leaking from Unit

Unit does a great job with cooling, but has leaked water underneath since new. Multiple service calls have failed to fix the problem. How I’m waiting on a replacement part to fix the problem. I’m very concerned that this issue is going to return after the warranty expires. A new Carrier unit should not have this issue.
Vibrating grill causing annoying noise

The grill on the outside ac unit vibrates and creates a loud noise. I have checked and tightened the fasteners but there is still metal to metal contact and vibration creating noise.
Consistent performance
