Needed a new furnace

Our old Carrier was nearing the end after 27 years, so we upgraded to a high efficiency furnace and couldn't be happier.

Warranty on labor is only one year. I bought the furnace and AC unit in Mar. 2024. July 2025 I had to call for service because AC stopped working because of a wiring issue. Now, Oct 2026, I need to make another service call because the condensate pump is leaking water over my basement floor.

Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.

This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
