The 2 stage system has had problems since I bought it. Aways on high speed mode, not sure what is wrong with the low speed mode but they still can't seem to fix the problem.

After install of brand new unit, after 1.5 month the furnace stopped working. Upon trouble shooting I was told that a blower motor module was faulty and causing the safety gas shutoff hence furnace would not start up. (This is after my brand new AC unit was replaced and 2nd unit needed repair) so within a 2 month period I needed repairs on both brand new AC and new furnace. Making me seriously doubt the carrier brand quality after spending 1000s.. I hope someone will read this at the company and address my concerns

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
2. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Lifetime heat exchanger parts limited warranty period is 20 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a lifetime heat exchanger parts limited warranty. See warranty certificate for details.
This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
