This furnace was installed by the builder. He did not tell us that he or his HVAC guy didn't bother to register this product. So we found out later when we had problems that it was not registered. Thus we did not get the 10 year warranty. The high limit switch burned out \& had to be replaced. We were told that this should not happen on a furnace that is only about 3.5 years old. Even with the discounts from the service plan, this cost us $533. We should have spent this when we built the to get a higher quality furnace. This furnace is not used heavily since it is for the 2nd floor.

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
2. 20-year heat exchanger parts limited warranty when used in an owner-occupied residence. See warranty certificate for details.
This furnace does not comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is not eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
