The humidity in our home went up drastically and our installer recommended a dehumidifier which solved the problem but we now have to empty it daily. The new unit is the same tonsge as the old unit. It’s a pain to empty it every day . It’s heavy and spill easily.

The fan coil indoor unit is working well. It is a bit noisy. The reason I did not give it a higher rating is because the outdoor Carrier unit is rusting badly after only 9 months. The body is mostly a thin wire painted frame. I am very disappointed with it. I purchased the system because of Carrier's reputation for corrosion resistance. I am learning the hard way that the corrosion resistance is very poor.
