i-Vu® XT Router
XT-RB
The i-Vu® XT Router routes BACnet messages between the i-Vu building automation system backbone (BACnet/IP), and a subnetwork of i-Vu controllers (BACnet MS/TP). It connects directly to the Ethernet LAN and provides the i-Vu web server with access to the entire i-Vu system. The i-Vu XT Router also extends an i-Vu system, allowing individual BACnet MS/TP networks (with up to 60 controllers each) to be connected together via the i-Vu building automation system backbone.
The XT‑RB is a BACnet router that connects field‑level BACnet MS/TP networks to the i‑Vu® building automation system backbone. It enables centralized access, routing, and coordination across multiple controller networks through a single IP‑based infrastructure.

Features
Support for BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC) allows encrypted communication across IP networks. XT‑RB also supports mixed environments, making it easier to transition existing systems to newer BACnet architectures over time. This helps facilities improve security without disrupting operations.
The XT‑RB allows multiple BACnet MS/TP networks to be connected through the i‑Vu backbone, supporting expansion as buildings or campuses evolve. Additional routing ports help share data across subsystems while maintaining network organization. This flexibility supports long‑term system growth and reliability.
The XT‑RB BACnet Router connects BACnet MS/TP networks to the i‑Vu IP backbone, enabling secure, scalable routing across controller networks.
