OPND
The VVT rectangular zone damper with the VVT Zone controller is a component of Carrier’s i-Vu Building Automation System. It provides accurate and precise airflow for VVT applications. The factory-integrated VVT Zone controller maintains space temperature by modulating the proper amount of supply airflow through its damper.
The Carrier Rectangular Damper with VVT® Zone Controller (OPND) is designed for VVT applications requiring accurate, responsive airflow control. The factory‑integrated controller modulates supply air to maintain zone temperature while supporting sensing and control functions within the i‑Vu® Building Automation System.

Features
An integral supply air temperature sensor and demand control ventilation (DCV) input enable responsive control strategies at the zone level. These inputs allow the system to react to real operating conditions, helping improve comfort and ventilation performance without adding external components.
The OPND supports clockwise or counterclockwise rotation, along with adjustable minimum and maximum damper positions. This flexibility simplifies design and installation while allowing airflow limits to be tailored to the specific needs of each zone. Optional analog output capability supports actuator linking when required.
