i-Vu® Link
CIV-L
The i-Vu Link module allows you to integrate other manufacturers’ equipment into the i-Vu Building Automation System. Support for BACnet, Modbus®, and LonWorks® protocols is standard, making it easy to tie in equipment such as VFDs, boilers, and lighting in order to complete your Carrier system. Each i-Vu Link module supports up to 500 third party BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks points.
The i‑Vu® Link CIV‑L is a networking and integration controller that connects Carrier and non‑Carrier equipment to the i‑Vu® Building Automation System, enabling centralized control, data access, and system scalability across multiple protocols.
Features
Designed to grow with your building, the CIV‑L increases i‑Vu® system capacity by linking multiple Carrier Comfort Network (CCN) segments through the BACnet/IP backbone. Each device supports large point counts and multiple controllers, helping facilities expand automation coverage while maintaining consistent performance and visibility.
By connecting directly to the Ethernet LAN, the CIV‑L provides access to CCN devices through the i‑Vu® web interface. Trend data and schedules are stored locally, supporting reliable system operation and informed decision‑making even during network interruptions. This enables operators to monitor and manage systems efficiently from a single platform.
The i‑Vu® Link CIV‑L connects Carrier and third‑party equipment to the i‑Vu® system for centralized control across BACnet®, Modbus®, and LonWorks®.
