After having problem after problem with our previous unit, the Carrier unit has been a Godsend. It’s quiet, effective and easy to use. Would definitely recommend!!

This replaced a 12 yr old comfort series that literally exploded in the yard. It blew insulation, vent all the Freon and scared our Iraqi war vet neighbor. We paid 8k for that unit which had a service contract, filter changed. It was the coil that was usually broken with service calls. I would estimate 4-5 tech came to look at it without finding out why it continually tripped breakers. We had a new electrical panel installed for this unit. Then they just started parts changing because they had no clue. They even replaced the old power source with a replacement and hooked back up to but didn’t fix it. Then it was change the heat pump motor. We were getting a second opinion when it simply and literally blew up. We were in the middle of the summer with temps over a 100 daily so we had to buy the basic carrier for 11k and it still took a week for them to come install. I am not buying another one.
