Brand new outside unit but it is bit noisy.

I really like this product but there is one thing I DO NOT like. It has a feature where it will automatically turn-on for a few minutes if the unit has not run for a week. Some kind of safety feature. But, it is irritating and comes on at odd times. I DO NOT like that feature but evidently cannot be turned off.
Extremely quiet and Great temperature control. Poor historical energy usage tracking.

Positives: Very quiet system. Holds the house temperature within 1F of setpoint. Negatives: Poor historical energy tracking--it only shows the past 2 days, and no hourly tracking. Only able to have 3-4 settings. I am used to seeing historical hourly usage, as well as have more than 10 temperature range settings in a week. I did not like that the system kept running all day (>18 hours) when the humidifier water was turned off and the system tried to circulate warm air to humidify the house +3 RH.
New to the heat pump world

This purchase came along with a new furnace. My concern is that the fan on the heat pump seems to be running way more than it should. Proof would be that according to our local power company, our electrical usage over the past four months has been $284 more than the average home in our area, whereas the natural gas usage is $405 less than the average user. I suspect we have to credit the new furnace for that, or perhaps the heat pump also deserves credit. Don't know for sure. The excessive electricity usage is definitely concerning as we have never had a heat pump before.
