Does not operated as advertise , use only as indepedent unit

After many discussions with carrier certified techs and with two in carrier technical support , I have found the following: The unit will not operate continuously when communicating with carrier unit, only operates when fan is running in AH. Carrier literature says it can and one of your web sites recommends that it be run continuously. As per Carrier tech support we have place jumper to ERV wall control, now runs as wanted. The infinity system control does not control the ERV. When ERV has all 4 wires hooked up, the controls on the ERV do not function. To Adjust the CFM or Min, Max modes we have disconnected the two communication wires. I now operate the unit separate from the rest of the Carrier equipment. This unit was not worth the money or the aggrivation involved. I should have bought a much cheaper unit designed to be stand a lone . I really think that ERVs in general are worth the money, but not the Carrier ERV.
