Noisy - needed new compressor - assured it is running OK

When installed it made so much noise we called YES! to have it checked out. It vibrated so much the Carrier logo came loose from the top of the unit. YES! assured us this was normal. Six months later the compressor needed to be replaced. It is still noisy, but not at noisy as it was. I hope we don't continue to have problems with this unit.

Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.

This furnace does comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
