We found Jacobs in the Yellow Pages when our A/C quit in Summer Heat. Prior owner installed it and would not help us. Called the company I used at our prior home and nothing soon. Jacobs to the rescue and we are loyal.

Installers very friendly

Jacobs had the most cost efficient bid and were professional throughout. Solved a spacing problem on installation to include air filtration. Furnace is louder than 22 yr old Infinity model it replaced, but works well.

They installed AC and Furnace. It works but they didn't use the correct size of vent cover and have yet to come back and install correct size despite repeated calls.

Installer, Moses, was excellent and dealings with Jacobs professional and friendly.

Great Installation, yet communication from the office could have been better. It took 9 months from ordering the equipment to getting it and we had to initiate the communication

This business does excellent work but is a bit short on communication with its customers. From failure of my previous air\-conditioner to successful installation of my new one took well over a year. I am sure that a good part of this delay was due to the pandemic and supply chain problems caused by the pandemic, but I received no information whatsoever from Jacobs about this. Their expertise in equipment installation is NOT matched by their customer "service".

There were some slip\-ups in the smooth installation of the AC but by and large they were quickly and effectively solved

I appreciated that Doug was very informative about what he was doing during the installation.

Eleven months after the initial estimate and about nine months after signing the contract, our AC system install is finally complete. A combination of schedule restrictions on our end and supply chain and worker supply issues on their end led to a long lead time and then two different reschedules. We've only used it a few times, but all seems to be working so far. Would have been nice to have better communication from the main office about the final stages of the project, but both installers were great and did quality work.

Courteous and professional

Had to call to confirm/get time or arrival for install and timeline of install and then was promised 2 techs and 2 days max for install, 1 tech showed up, it took over 3 full days, tech would stay more then 8 hours and never communicated unless prompted by myself. This required me to take an unplanned extra day off of work and to be absent for the final part of install, when I returned home post install the unit outside was damaged and once we started running the until there is a loud harmonic noise on the main floor above the basement in which it was installed. Company has yet to resolve issues but is demanding almost full payment before resolving issues fully. Very dissatisfied with the service.

Excellent experience. Salesperson Joe Munafo was clear about our options. Michelle was helpful in scheduling to meet our tight calendar. Doug Woolridge did an outstanding job installing the furnace, gave us venting options, was consistently cheerful, and treated us and our home with respect. (Our garage is cleaner than it was when he started!)

Awesome service. They were able to identify the issue and schedule fast. This was after one of the more known names came to trouble shoot out issues. They came out three times before identifying the issue. Jacob's identified immediately.

Steven did an excellent job to install my new heating system.

To put it plainly, our installation of a new furnace and AC was done poorly. The day after they completed the installation, the furnace began having issues where it would detect a fault and shut off for hours at a time. We were watching the temperature drop as low as 57 degrees in the house in December. After multiple technician visits, they finally fixed the issue. Turns out they had run the exhaust pipes incorrectly which was causing the furnace to shut down. All of this took three weeks to complete with a lot of calls to and from Jacobs in between. They're a local company that has been around for awhile, but after this experience I can't recommend them. The price of a new HVAC system ($$$), combined with a poor installation and lack\-luster customer service, means there's no awards or recommendations to be given here.

we ordered an air conditioner to be installed after a very hot summer due to shortage of items it took over 6 months to get an installer but that was fine since we where into the fall and hot weather had passed they did underestimate how long it would take to do the job told us one day but that was not possible then the person who was to come out injured himself so they had to find someone to fill his spot a very nice young tech came spent the day but could not get it up and running this was running in to the holidays so a few weeks ago they sent someone out who checked everything and got it up and running they kept us informed all along the way of what was going on

No communication from the initial sales consult to the rude field supervisor for measurements to the botched install and drilling a hole through our hardwood floors for no reason except poor project management and sloppy work. No communication about the permit process, no removal of shoes when working inside and no training on our new equipment and thermostat. Shocking the lack of communication and coordination between their team. They made the process very stressful.

Installation of first\-time A/C and replacement furnace was well\-prepped and went seamlessly, without a hitch. Doug Woolridge was the lead installer and really knew his craft. When wall and beam placement appeared to obstruct the relocation of our thermostat, Doug knew how to tackle the problem and come up with an excellent solution. From sales to site prep to office administration, Jacobs had an excellent, friendly and service\-oriented team.

We have used Jacobs for over 20 years. Thus we've had opportunities for many service and maintenance calls. Their staff seem eager to help. We have experienced really great, courteous sales staff and technicians. We've also experienced some less experienced and less knowledgeable individuals. We continue to utilized Jacobs as they are responsive, but have learned to inquire about who is coming to perform the work and ask how experienced they are.

Absolutely stellar service from start to finish. The Sales and Office folks were extremely pleasant and easy to deal with, but the true heroes were our Installation Team. Their attention to detail was exemplary \- as was their ability to work with the quirks of our home. We could not be more pleased with the end result. Thank you!

No problem with installation, but help afterwards was not what we had hoped. We sent Jacobs service department an email over a month ago due to some issues. We haven't heard back from them.

Staff and service professionals were very knowledgable and overall did a great job. The elcectrician that was hired by Jacobs for the wiring of our new A/C unit into our ancient electrical panel ended up cutting power to our clothes dryer during the initial install. Once we noticed this, we called up Jacobs and they arranged for the electrician to come back out and remedy the issue within the week at no additional cost. The A/C unit itself was installed half on top of some concrete pavers, which is a pain because we cannot landscape around the A/C unit as we had originally planned. Also, the hole drilled into the side of our house to bring the refridgerant lines in was larger than it seems like it needed to be and the sealant job to close the hole was a bit sloppy.

Jacob's installed a new Carrier top\-of\-the\-line furnace, and in a separate visit, a humidifier. For both these installs, the equipment didn't work right after the installer left, and the troubleshooter had to come out a few days later to fix them. Otherwise, I'm very happy with their service, pricing, and efficiency.

Jacobs installed air condidtioning, adding on to existing forced air furnace. They installed the furnace sytem 10 years ago and a heat pump mini\-aplit to other areas without ducts. Easy, smooth, pleasant experience at a good price.

Tony was an outstanding installer and problem solver. He worked solo for almost 2 full days, was s solid communicator, did a great site clean up, and took time to explain to us details on both product operation and warranty.
