The installation of two furnaces and two air conditioners were installed 2 years ago. One furnace installed 12/20/2023. The installers were very professional and knowledgeable about all units. The costs of all units were within the budget and no extras were at the end added. Using Allied for service checks Heating and air. On the first units, of course, they are new but I felt the units were not checked as tight as if there was a repair call. Did not see electric meters or pressure reading devices being used. Service Checks are important to the maintenance of your units and I felt more checkpoints should have been covered. Wife is Happy, So I am Happy!! Recommend This Company!!

After having the system installed, our system failed the same day due to excessive overcharging on our brand new unit. We had our unit running for around 6 hours in this condition before it stopped working. We had to call someone to return to our home to blow out the extra fluid. I hope this did not damage our A/C components in any way. I guess only time will tell. I understand that overcharging is a rookie mistake and do not appreciate spending this type of money to have an inexperienced young man charge the unit instead of the supervisor with 30 years experience.

I knew my previous AC unit had died, the previous year I had it recharged, and was told then the old refrigerant (R12?) was getting very expensive as it had been phased out \- so this year when it failed I decided to replace my 20+ year old Carrier AC/Furnace with newer Carrier products. Sales Rep appt was made for a day or two after I called, showed up a couple minutes early, spent time to answer my questions and give me a bid before leaving. I approved bid and set\-up schedule for install. Install day was hot and humid, but the two installers got to work, with coverings on my carpet, cleaning up all the debris, disposing of all my old equipment, and testing everything with me before they left. I am very happily cold again !!!!

Our furnace died because of a manufacturer defect caused the heat exchanger to rust prematurely. (Carrier made it of steel instead of aluminum.) We wanted to replace it with a heat pump to eliminate our dependence on natural gas (a fossil fuel). Our old HVAC dealer at the time pushed us to install another furnace instead. We eventually discovered that was because they don't install heat pumps. (We also discovered the old furnace and A/C they installed for us were oversized for our house, which is why the far rooms were always too cold.) We used carrier.com to find Allied. They were reluctant to install a heat pump at first, but once we told them we understood it would rely on the backup resistance heat source when it's below 15°F, they were onboard. Their installation team was very knowledgeable and worked with us to configure our Ecobee thermostat with the thresholds we wanted. Allied recommended a unit of the correct size, and those far rooms are now the same temperature as the rest of the house. The only speed bump was that the drain from the evaporator pan wasn't pitched correctly, and the humidifier drained into the pan, which overflowed. It was challenging to discover the cause, but once we did, Allied promptly fixed it. The village inspection passed with flying colors. Our heat pump is now happily whirring away and heating our house even in sub\-zero Chicago temperatures.

replaced a 20 year old non\-Carrier furnace with a new Carrier furnace. new furnace runs much quieter and provides better air flow and heat. service installation took about 8 hours elapsed total, but everything was done professionally, and was very clean and neat. this is the 2nd furnace replaced and have 1 more to go when it fails. have used allied for all of my furnaces and service for over 30 years and will continue to do so. Highly recommend them.

Dave and Steve removed the old furnace. Carefully removed it from my basement. They brought the new furnace in and downstairs. We discussed the new unit, its PVC intake and exhaust pipe runs. After agreeing on the best option for ME, they went the extra mile to install a great looking as well as functional system. Dave redid the electric and gas pipe, including a new full port gas valve. Both cleaned up the work area as if they were never there. Thanks for the extra effort!
