The installation of two furnaces and two air conditioners were installed 2 years ago. One furnace installed 12/20/2023. The installers were very professional and knowledgeable about all units. The costs of all units were within the budget and no extras were at the end added. Using Allied for service checks Heating and air. On the first units, of course, they are new but I felt the units were not checked as tight as if there was a repair call. Did not see electric meters or pressure reading devices being used. Service Checks are important to the maintenance of your units and I felt more checkpoints should have been covered. Wife is Happy, So I am Happy!! Recommend This Company!!

Removal and installation of my new furnace went without a hitch. Servicemen were very courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. I've worked with this dealer for approximately 30 years and they've installed both furnaces and both air conditioning units and humidifiers, so that must say something for the confidence I have with this team.

I could say all the usual "polite, friendly, knowledgeable" stuff about everyone I dealt with from a service technician, to the salesperson, to the installers, and it would be true. Much more importantly though, I got the sense from everyone that being very good at what they do is important. And they all seemed very good at what they do!

Scott, Whittaker and the installation team were courteous, quick and neat. We had a late evening AC problem that required a new unit. Scott got me temporarily up and running, Whittaker set me up with the unit we needed and the installation team got us up and running worry free. If you need heating or AC work Allied is the place to call.

Consistent excellence

After having the system installed, our system failed the same day due to excessive overcharging on our brand new unit. We had our unit running for around 6 hours in this condition before it stopped working. We had to call someone to return to our home to blow out the extra fluid. I hope this did not damage our A/C components in any way. I guess only time will tell. I understand that overcharging is a rookie mistake and do not appreciate spending this type of money to have an inexperienced young man charge the unit instead of the supervisor with 30 years experience.

There aren't many services that I give an unqualified 5 star rating to, but Allied is one. They are always responsive, collaborative, honest, and clearly are working with customers over the long haul, to make sure that you are satisfied for years of service. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, with the unique challenges of our home, such as finding proper exhaust locations and able to make it work.

Explained the whole process of the installation and the new technology in my Carrier furnace (which was 19 years old and replaced my prior Carrier furnace). Very efficient install of two furnaces and a hot water heater which was in a tight confined space, Explained the working of a two stage furnace and its benefits. Answered all my questions in a very clear easy to understand manner. Would not hesitate to recommend this heating and air company as well as the Carrier product.

I knew my previous AC unit had died, the previous year I had it recharged, and was told then the old refrigerant (R12?) was getting very expensive as it had been phased out \- so this year when it failed I decided to replace my 20+ year old Carrier AC/Furnace with newer Carrier products. Sales Rep appt was made for a day or two after I called, showed up a couple minutes early, spent time to answer my questions and give me a bid before leaving. I approved bid and set\-up schedule for install. Install day was hot and humid, but the two installers got to work, with coverings on my carpet, cleaning up all the debris, disposing of all my old equipment, and testing everything with me before they left. I am very happily cold again !!!!

A/C did not work after installation....The thermostat was not able to communicate with the unit. Wiring issue.

This is the second h/ac carrier unit they have installed. The first unit lasted 18 yrs! Hope this one does too.

From phone to sales to installation very best

Our furnace died because of a manufacturer defect caused the heat exchanger to rust prematurely. (Carrier made it of steel instead of aluminum.) We wanted to replace it with a heat pump to eliminate our dependence on natural gas (a fossil fuel). Our old HVAC dealer at the time pushed us to install another furnace instead. We eventually discovered that was because they don't install heat pumps. (We also discovered the old furnace and A/C they installed for us were oversized for our house, which is why the far rooms were always too cold.) We used carrier.com to find Allied. They were reluctant to install a heat pump at first, but once we told them we understood it would rely on the backup resistance heat source when it's below 15°F, they were onboard. Their installation team was very knowledgeable and worked with us to configure our Ecobee thermostat with the thresholds we wanted. Allied recommended a unit of the correct size, and those far rooms are now the same temperature as the rest of the house. The only speed bump was that the drain from the evaporator pan wasn't pitched correctly, and the humidifier drained into the pan, which overflowed. It was challenging to discover the cause, but once we did, Allied promptly fixed it. The village inspection passed with flying colors. Our heat pump is now happily whirring away and heating our house even in sub\-zero Chicago temperatures.

We've used Allied for a boiler, hot water heater, and 2 AC air handlers and compressors. They were the only quote we received that accurately determined we had a heated floor pipe that could be used if they installed a pump. All installations were extremely professional and accommodated our last minute requests each time. Couldn't more highly recommend an HVAC company!

The installer had issues with making the new AC fit right in my tiny space, but he was persistent, made some calls and got it done. It took some time, but it got done right.

The experience was flawless from our first meeting to discuss the furnace and AC we wanted to the scheduling and work completion. Communication was great.

No one looks forward to the prospect of having to replace a furnace and air conditioner, but we all do like our homes to be comfortable. And in that regard, the folks from Allied have always taken good care of us, from the time we had to replace an old furnace in 1985, shortly after we moved into this house, through the frigid Super Bowl Sunday one year when a technician came and replaced our ailing blower motor, and the various cleanings and so on in between. When that old furnace began slipping this spring, there was no one else we were going to turn to. Fair pricing, excellent service, expert technicians. What else do you want? We are happy campers.

Salesman Chris was great to work with on the proposal. New Carrier furnace, AC and Infinity thermostat installed a week later. The crew showed up on time \- actually early. Removed old equipment and installed new and were out of the house by 2pm. Everything worked great and is MUCH quieter than the old equipment. Went with 80% furnace because of potential issues with high efficiency units requiring service when we might not be around in the winter. New furnace has variable speed motor and two stages so is really efficient.
