HVAC installation occured on Monday. Furnace worked but they could not get the air conditioner to work. Tech came and thinking the boar was defective and ordered a new one. The same tech came back on Friday and realized the board had been put in place either backwards or upside down. Once he put it in correctly it worked fine. The mark down was because they were there all day on Monday until after 6 and then the tech was here 3 hours before he realized the problem otherwise it is good.

The whole Estes team was great from quote through installation. I had multiple quotes and Estes was the only one to talk about some revisions that should be made to improve the functioning of the system (return airflow was restricted). The other contractors were just going to replace the basic systems, event though they were not properly installed when the house was built. The installation was great as well, I had 2 furnace/AC replacements. Workmanship was great and the team had the utmost respect for the house. Everything was well explained throughout the process and they will be doing a post install inspection in the coming weeks. Great team, great work!

Heater replacement can be a scary experience, but not with Estes. We have been customers for many years and have always been pleased with their maintenance services. The quote for the new heater was very competitive and each component was explained thoroughly. The installers, Frey and Ruben, arrived exactly as scheduled and were exceptionally polite and personable. They installed the heater, insured it was working correctly, thoroughly cleaned the area around the heater, and made sure all the old parts were removed. They took the time to be sure I was satisfied and were excellent at their tasks! Thanks to all who made this as painless as possible!

We had Carrier systems in our house. We had great techs who took care of them. Those SEER 10 systems lasted about 25 years. Why would we consider anything else. When the systems began to fail, we knew we needed at least one. It turned out all 3 could be replaced, but 2 were critical. We called a known Carrier dealer, with good reviews, in our area. Estes came out, researched our systems issues and let us know their advice. They were prompt, professional and courteous. They got us on their schedule in a few days. Their install team worked fast, quietly and completed both installs in one day. Fantastic. New systems mean new things to consider and get used to. Our Estes team did not leave us in the dark. I was able to reach them, ask questions, get their experience and determine what I needed to pay attention to. It went as well as a midsummer total switchout of two systems could go. The evaluation of my equipment need was excellent. However, I was not informed of the extreme noise level of the Comfort series air conditioner unit I was sold. When I asked for help in reducing the noise a technician was immediately sent out. He evaluated the unit and said it was performing normally and the noise level was a result of a low level compressor. He described it as buying a compact car, not a Mercedes. I asked for help, including installing a compressor blanket (or perhaps in replacing the compressor) in resolving the noise issue and have not heard back since. I am not a complaining customer but I paid Estes 15% more than the quote I received from the Trane dealer. Their unit operates at a lower noise level.

I have been singing praises of my new equipment since the day it was installed. MY OLD EQUIPMENT: I wanted something that was quiet because the old furnace used to wake me up every time it came on. Because of the size of the bedroom, the air/heat distribution was uneven \-\- never felt the heat in the winter or the air in the summer. Rather than feel the sudden blasts of cold air when the unit came on and off, I turned it off. MY NEW EQUIPMENT: The equipment, inside and outside, is soooooo quiet, it's like a whisper. It's nice to be able to sleep through the night finally without hearing the roar of the furnace over my head. With the installation of the extra vent in the bedroom, it's feels like I'm in a different world of comfort. I don't want to leave the house. The variable speed upstairs unit has totally eliminated the on/off discomfort blast of sudden cold air, but rather changes by degrees. Even the headache of batteries in the thermostat has been eliminated. If I can give Carrier 10 stars, I would and have already recommended it to neighbors. Also, thank you to Estes Services in Atlanta for the great, clean, efficient and expedient installation job.

Installation took much longer than expected. Don't like the new thermostats installed that have VERY limited program settings. Don't feel like this unit is at all an improvement. Have to set the thermostats lower to get the same cooling as the old unit that leaked coolant. So far, not a fan and will obtain a greater variety of quotes before replacing other equipment.

Carrier itself was not the one I purchased this system from \- and it wasn't installed by Carrier \- The heating \& air company I went through offered Carrier. I have known about Carrier for quite a while \- The company I had been using to service my old system, discovered a defective compressor \- Along with the fact that system carried the old R22, which is now obsolete, and the compressor for that unit was no longer being made; So, I did much research trying to find a " Trustworthy Heating \& Air Company" since that current company I was using, was entirely TOO PRICEY!!! Quoting $6,000.00 above what I paid for this new heat pump system \- SO, after much research, and after contacting Central Heating \& Air, \& speaking with their sales rep, I was referred to a company located in my area \- Estes Heating \& Air installed my split system \- and did a great job \- I went from a 14 seer to a 16 seer system \- with that said, I'm not sure if that may have anything to do with the fact that when it's been running for a while, the system in the attic is quite noisy (loud hum )\- I'm told it's the part that carries the freon from the outside unit to the upstairs(attic) split unit vibrates slightly \- causing it to make this noise \- Other than that, it's been less than a month that this was installed \- The fact that it does carry a 10 yr. parts \& labor warranty, however, can give one peace of mind \- I'm still wondering HOW I'm going to pay for this thing, especially where I am financially and it's just ME, who's NOT working \- Outside of that, I think I made the correct choice by going with Carrier \& having Estes Heating \& Air install \& now service this unit \-

Since this rating is only for the dealer I will include my comments about the equipment in the remarks. The Carrier replaced my 15 yr old Trane. I will say that this unit is significantly noisier than the Trane (it is outside my bedroom) and I am not happy with the open top of the fan unit. I have a lot of trees in my yard and the proximity of the unit to my house allows the leaves to collect on top of the unit. My closed top Trane unit did not allow this to be a problem. I have not had the unit long enough to see a power bill.

It was determined that I needed a new condenser and a new coil in the furnace. Damien measured everything and called everything into Laverne. This was on a Friday afternoon and Lavern called me back and said the installation would be Monday morning at 9 AM. I was very pleased. Two installers showed up at 9 AM on Monday morning,Fray and Ruben worked as a professional team and had the unit installed in no time! We are now enjoying the energy savings of the new unit and the coolness of our home. Thanks again to Estes and Carrier!

The representative who came to consult with me about my need for a new furnace could not have been more knowledgeable and personable and not at all pushy. I really appreciated the time he took to explain the pros and cons of the three different grades of products offered.He was able to get the furnace I needed and have it put in the next day. I had a carbon monoxide alarm the day before and the monoxide level was in the 50s so gas had to be turned off. I felt very fortunate to only be without it for a little over 24 hours. They worked with me around an appointment I had in the middle of the morning for physical therapy. The installers were here, before "on time", and had it installed within about 2 hours.

Laverne Jackson did an excellent job of explaining the replacement product to be installed and worked to identify a plan for additional vents to two rooms in our terrace level that were not being serviced by existing system. I have used Estes for my yearly tune\-ups and for th emost part, they were reliable. This is a new installation on the heating and air but I had to get them back out the day after install. Not sure about how they will honor or resepond if I run into problems. Since I am not a pro at HVAC nor have I had to ever replace a system, this is all new to me but when I asked for assitance to get a new intake cover no extra help. When I pointed out the old worn insulation that is connected to the new heating system, they did not offer to go that extra mile and replace it. It is not duct but you would think that since I am buying a $6,000.00 system, what would literally be the cost for them? All of this makes me a little worried.

The ability (of both the consultant as well as the service technicians) to solve problems were by far the most impressive characteristics exhibited, though the compassion and personal treatment were too exceptional to not comment on. Sam, Jered, Luke and the guys they had to call for backup defined above\-and\-beyond professionalism that seem rarer and rarer as the world gets more complicated and isolated. Jered in particular literally went the extra mile.. probably over 50 miles.. to come back after installation was complete to tweak one unfinished detail with the best attitude possible. I've had a contract with them for 3 years and they have caught problems in the past. This time it took 2 visits to realize that my heat exchanger had cracks and was introducing carbon monoxide into my home. They acted quickly to get me a new furnace installed and did a great job of putting in the new unit. The job was a bit more difficult as the new unit was a lot taller than the old one and access was tight but they got it done in about 4 hours start to finish.

We recently relocated to this area and had to replace a 19 year old HVAC system. Sam Rhone from Estes Heating and Air gave us a thorough inspection and quote. Four techs, Fray, Bladimir, Carlos and Giovanni arrived the next day and worked had to remove the old system and replace with a variable speed unit that is whisper quiet and efficient. The techs would stop at any time you asked them a question and they thoroughly provided an explanation. Our experience with Estes was very positive and we plan to sign up with their maintenence plan as well.

This is a landlord/tenant situation involving a property which needed significant attention, so I picked this dealer because it handles multiple issues (HVAC, plumbing, electrical). Estes was great to work with, since I am remote. However, I tried to do a cost comparison and asked for an itemized cost breakdown for to accompany all the parts identified on the estimate to replace the HVAC. I didn't get it. I was frustrated with the pricing or cost model but it seems to be standard for the industry. Every tradesman get their bite at the apple, but if you elect to buy an entire system, then no cost for their cost estimate. Again, I picked this dealer because they had expertise in multiple areas (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc). But I'm not certain that I see the added value.

I hired Estes to install HVAC system in a rental property. They did not complete installation in one day as promised and did not even bother to let me know the job was not completed. I just happened to find out because they called me by mistake when they were trying to reach the tenant to get access to the property. Within a week, the unit stopped working properly because of a faulty thermostat that they knew had issues but installed anyway. Then the next week, the drain line was clogged, causing water to fill the drip pan. New drain lines were supposed to be installed but obviously were not. This has been the worst $6000 I have ever spent and they treat customers like they are stupid and are also not nice. I will never use them or recommend them to anyone.

I can't answer the "Attributes" ratings; the salesman and installers came and went, were very pleasant. How would I know about or be qualified to evaluate their expertise, solve problems, and "service" (whatever that means). Example: at another location I had a heat pump installed a couple of years ago BY A DIFFERENT DEALER; I would have rated the installers as excellent right after the installation, but after two billing cycles my electric bills tripled and it turned out that in July they left the heat pump running on BOTH heat and cold. I will say that that company had no excuse and they did make me whole in both fixing the settings and giving me credit for two years of maintenance service.

Our experience with the purchase of our new Carrier Infinity HVAC was truly amazing. Collin is an excellent technician who repaired our existing unit to get me through the 97 degree weather long enough to have the new unit installed. Justin, our sales rep, was extremely knowledgeable and explained the benefits of the new system clearly. Justin provided amazing customer service. He even spent an hour on his day off to calm my fears about our selection! On the day of the install, everything went very smoothly as Justin had prepped the installers with very detailed instructions prior to their arrival and he fielded any installer questions, allowing my husband and I to enjoy our day with minimal distraction. The installers were also very professional. They did an excellent job and left the site cleaner than it was before they got there. They corrected a long standing issue with our original HVAC that was replaced. The lead installer set up our thermostat and showed my husband and I the basics of operation. Justin came back that week and demoed additional features of the thermostat and set us up on the internet so that we can control the temperature from our iPad and phones. Amazing positive experience from beginning to end. We love our new unit! Quiet, efficient, dehumidifier air! Very cozy and comfortable! Thank you for an excellent product and an excellent install!

It's not like you get many choices, since in modern times there is an expectation that you must have an HVAC system. I will also note that my opinion is also predicated on the fact that I moved into this house in April 2017 after alleged thorough inspections, so it was not all that pleasant of an idea to come to understand that a new HVAC system was needed. I was familiar with the company from a previous experience, and in general have been satisfied with what service I get from the individuals that come out and do the work. Yet, objectively I can't be overall completely and thoroughly satisfied because of some technical issues that got in the way. First off, the system was not installed when it was supposed to be installed. Yes, a couple of inches of snow happened to come the night before, but the facts remain that the morning of the install I got a message that they were arriving late, only to be followed up with a cancellation the hour later. The day of the actual install, the guys working on it (who worked continuously all day long) came across a problem related to a part in the system that wasn't working. Again, not the company's fault, but it seems that when you're paying for the top of the line system, this shouldn't be an expected issue. And then, had to call the company out a couple days later for a faulty system that apparently is related to wiring. It was explained that the instructions for installation are not compatible with the reality of how the system needs to be wired. So, all in all, the technicians were capable and friendly and got the job done, but the entire experience was not all that gratifying. I would certainly recommend Estes \- I have been very satisfied with the service that they provide. I think we were just victims of the circumstances.

Crew that installed the 2 outdoor air conditioning units did not caulk all the openings in the furnace cabinets or around the air handler and coil. Both units were leaking air profusely. I taped them up. The lead installer also told me that I would not be able to use the fan with the system because with the thermostat provided, the fan cannot run unless the system are heating or cooling. The Instalation Manager came out and fixed the units so the fan works and caulked around the furnace and air handlers. I asked him if he would give me 1 additional year of free labor to make it right and he said he would get back to me after he talked to his management. It has been almost 2 months and no one ever got back to me with an answer one way or the other. I thought my request was reasonable since Estes admitted that the installation was below their standards.

In large part, due to the restrictions on Freon, I needed to replace my HVAC unit. The person that gave me the estimate was knowledgeable about the options. He arrived late due to traffic, which can be a usual problem in the area I live. The two person installation team arrived on time and went right to work. Their work was performed smoothly and professionally. They kept their work area, both inside and out, in an orderly fashion. The left both areas in the same condition was when they arrived. Unfortunately they missed wired some of the equipment that left the fan running continuously and the UV light inoperative. When the issues were reported, they arranged for the normal service person to address the issues. He quickly identified the issues and corrected the wiring situation rather quickly. I would certainly use this firm again.

I moved into a condo two years ago, knowing the HVAC could go at any moment. ( I opted to replace the water heater at the same time). When it started to come on and blow cold air with no interference from me\- I started to call around for estimates. Chris (Sales) came out on time and was thorough and honest with his recommendations. (He even admitted could sell me more expensive equipment, but why it wouldn't be worth it for my situation.) He took the time to answer all of my questions and break things down for me. I called and texted him to arrange installation. They worked around my day off (Thank you!) and my (sometimes finicky condo staff, parking etc) and installed about two weeks later. James and Robert came to install the HVAC\- they were on time, professional, clean and polite. (This is for my condo and also the one they had to go through to access my outer unit.) They showed me the basics of working the thermostat, and one of these days I will read the manual. On the same day, a few hours laters, Justin Rose\- the plumber arrived to install my new water heater. Again, he was full of knowledge and patient as he explained the new features and the importance of flushing it regularly. He also left the places he worked clean. My place will never be the same\- now that I have been using my new system for a few weeks, I can confidently say that my old system never really worked. I also want to mention by name Latorria who helped arrange financing and make sure I have all the names above correct. Smooth operation, Estes. Hopefully I don't have issues for the next 10 years, but if I do, I won't hesitate to call. Excellent customer service that turned a daunting large project into a very easy situation.

Estes I installed a new replacement furnace. Technicians arrived on time and completed the task in a timely manner, although it required the removal of my hot water heater to gain access. Overall, they did a great job, but I wish I would have known that there would be a lot of dust and debris falling out of the vents, because I would have cleared the areas under my vents. They cleaned up most, but there were several items I would have rather just move out of the way, so they wouldn't have to be cleaned individually of the dusty residue.
