The crew arrived a little early on Saturday morning. The electrician came but did not stay long, still waiting for him to come back at some point. The guys were very professional and answered my questions. There were some differences between what the salesman said would be performed on the project and what actually did happen. The insulation was not removed behind my air filter return, because they said it just dirty. It was cleaned and repaired. The decking that the air handler sits on was not replaced, because it was still in good shape. Technician cleaned it and painted it at end of the installation. The insulation going up into the attic was replaced, since it was original to the house. It took the crew member several attempts to get the right cut for the system. He was very professional and kept working, until everything was just perfect. I give him a five star for his craftsmanship! The two guys working outside with the compressor were equally professional. They removed the heavy old compressor and installed the new. The one guy was very meticulous with working to check the gauges and wiring. We lost a few feet of our hedge, even though they were replanted by the crew. It was not a big deal! I give the whole crew a 4.9, just for working on a Saturday. Great going guys! We are cool again! Hope to get my AC filters soon!

I have used Lindstrom for the past 20 years in multiple residences, including having annual maintenance contracts on my three current units. I was sold a large unit. As the unit was being installed I was told my prior unit had two zones. I was then asked whether I wanted (and was quoted on) the addition of a damper and computer controls so I could have a two zone system. I felt this should have been known by the Sales Agent and should have been in the initial bid. Living with the one zone unit it was clear I needed two zones for optimal cooling. So, I was given "a deal" on the new system although I'm not sure I got "a deal" on labor. Then after the parts, including the two zone damper was installed I had a series of four faults over a six week period, wherein the system stopped cooling on some very hot days. Each time there was a fault, a few days later individuals came out and tweaked the system to get it going. It was only when the head technician came out and concluded the whole add-on damper system and computer controls needed to be replaced, along with the addition of circuit breakers and draining devices that it has been working properly. These additions also added to the expense and also should have been part of the initial bid. I feel I was not sold the proper system from the beginning and possibly installing it sequentially (and maybe inappropriate parts) might have led to additional problems. I also tried multiple times to speak with management and owners of the Lindstrom who never returned my calls.

My a/c was installed on Saturday but the new thermostat wasn't explained to me. I had to call and have a technician come out on Sunday to set up my thermostat and whether or not to use the sensors. Then the a/c stopped working on Tuesday. I called again and the supervisor came to inspect the a/c. Yes, there was a problem with the install and the supervisor fixed it.
When the city inspector came, he noticed that the outside unit did not have the necessary screws to meet code. The inspector approved it and called Lindstrom to come and put in the necessary screws. Lindstrom came and put on the extra screws.
Lindstrom sent me the a/c filters. When I went to put in a new filter, I noticed it didn't fit. Again I called and again the supervisor came to my home. Someone sent the wrong size of air filter to me. The supervisor took the incorrect filters and I was sent new filters that fit inside my a/c.
While Lindstrom fixed all the problems, it was distressing that I had to keep calling to get someone out to fix what should have been during the installation. I highly recommend the carrier unit but maybe think about a different company to install it.

Had an AC installed in which I ran into various installation issues. Most of which stemmed from poor oversight and lack of pride in one's work (e.g. running copper over electrical boxes, improper leveling of condenser pad, improper handler box build out, and lying about what was actually complete). I must say all these items were fixed in the end. The operations manager Bob was great to speak to and was willing to do whatever it takes to resolve the issues at hand. However I must say these sort of issues should have never existed, having these identified \& items fixed required me the customer to perform extensive oversight of work being performed of which the average customer may not do. John M., the salesman is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He performed a thorough scope of work during the home visit with detailed explanation and photos of what I wanted done. I'm giving a 4 star (preferably 3.5 stars) because everything up to the installation was great. The installation which is probably the most important part of proper AC operation was a huge headache. However all issues were resolved in the end and post installation and follow up was appreciated. Overall happy with the purchased system it works great. Would I go with this company again, probably so because they do have integrity and was willing to fix all issues.

First crew hooked system improperly and handler in attic overflowed through our ceiling. They did respond quickly and replace the handler and will repair the ceiling damage. I understand things happen, however a lot of time, inconvenience and double work occurred because of not having a skilled installation person double check to be sure it was done correctly the first time. The second crew did a good job and the person who came to see what had happened was excellent at identifying the problem.

Well trained staff in all departments. Great customer service, especially compared to others and the general industry they exist in. I've been in Florida for 45 years and have used many different companies. I've come to the conclusion that when repairs and replacements are needed it pays to go with a large company with well trained employees even if the initial cost is higher. I got bids from 3 different, well\-thought of, companies. Lindstrom's sales person was the most knowledgeable, took the least amount of time, and was, of course, courteous. Installation was completed the NEXT day, in a few hours, exactly as promised; all the installers were courteous, worked hard, and were helpful with answering questions and giving practical advice. Before the installers left, a supervisor showed up, checked every thing, asked the installers questions and verified that the work had been done properly. Two days after installation I noticed a slow, drip\-drip\-drip, leak. The next day it was repaired\-\-two pipes that had not been glued were fixed, new insulation installed around the pipes, and all done in 15 minutes. A week after installation I received a box of cold air return #8 filters\-\-a supply for the first year. Couldn't be more pleased.

I know Carrier air conditioners are top of the line and last almost forever. I like to comment on the remarkable service I received. Most people today don't take the time to go over things with you. But Joe Sestito did, from helping me with getting the right size AC unit, explaining all the other information about warranties and the installation process I needed to know. The best was the service from the installers it was excellent. Faustin did the inside air handler and Barris outside unit. From putting protection down on my floor to the clean up at the end, both worked nonstop and did exceptional work. It would be nice if there was some kind of reward system so they could get gift cards. I thank them all for the great job.

Brand new Carrier 3 ton 2 stage install. Disappointing...first they wedged the new compressor against my well pump (preventing access to the pump). After complaining the compressor should be moved (they should have realized it but were too lazy), a crew from dumb \& dumber moved the unit after extending my slab. They left, never bothering to check if the unit was working \- which it wasn't. Called Lindstrom again .. shocker , the slab crew tore a wire off my NEW compressor. Finally fixed ... now it appears that the A/C is not blowing sufficient cool air to lower the temp in my loft... After 20+ years with Lindstrom ... it may be time for a change!

Install was great the techs really knew their stuff. Unfortunately the sales staff not so much. Looked at two units. Told the sales guy I wanted the better unit higher priced but worth it. When the install was complete and I was getting ready to pay I noticed the price being too low and the tech informed me that I got the 2 stage unit not the 5 stage I wanted. I contacted the sales guy who said I had sent in the signed quote for the 2 stage. My files indicated differently, but the unit is already in.

Everything was as expected, except the installers broke a bypass switch for the hot water heater. Tight proximity, understandable, but should have been noticed by the installer (the switch was basically in his face the whole time). We noticed the next day, when we had no hot water. I knew there was a bypass switch below the air handler. Sure enough, it was sheared off. The woman on the phone was pretty nasty (it was late in the day) \& basically conferred with someone \& told me "It's your problem". I immediately e\-mailed the service team \& by 11am the next morning, it was resolved by their electrician replacing the switch. It would have been nothing, until she told me it wasn't their problem. Bottom line, it was resolved quickly.

I contacted 6 different local HVAC installation companies when I was looking to replace my AC system (air handler and condenser). The previous system was at least 20 years old, used a lot of power, and had trouble cooling during the summer months. Lindstrom was the most professional of all the companies I contacted, they called me ahead of time to inform me a sales tech was on their way. Sales tech was knowledgeable and didn't try to push unnecessary things even when I asked them about it. The only company to recommend a lower priced/sized unit to me based off the usage patterns and size of the home. They also had well known brands in stock, and was able to give me a straight answer about availability of parts. Sales tech sent me multiple quotes for different size systems and the additional services I inquired (even though they recommended not doing those services) the same day as their visit. Tech wasn't pushy either, and gave me time to considering my options. All communication was handled over email. I was even able to push the install date a week down without any issues. The day of the install the two man crew were courteous and tidy while installing. They made sure all the mistakes of the previous HVAC installer were fixed, and spent time to talk to me about proper maintenance of the units. Lindstrom wasn't the cheapest option, though they weren't the most expensive quote I received. Nevertheless, the ease of working with them, and the quality of the install made the cost well worth it.

Our existing system had stopped working during the hottest part of the summer. Lindstrom sent John McCormack, one of their HVAC Specialist over within hours to scope the situation out. John gave us three choices of units that were readably available. We chose the best and it was completely installed within two days. The workers sent in to install the unit were hard working and knowledgeable, very impressive to see guys work that hard in 95 degree heat! The entire install of our new 5 ton unit was done in one day.

My experience was great overall. However, the Install crew did poor job of clean up after exchanging old to new unit. We found several screws, bent metal pieces and other small debris that unfortunately were stepped on after the fact.

My AC was installed and the proper checkpoints were not followed. Wiring was done incorrectly and did not clean out the line outside. It took about a month to finally solve all the issues. Their supervisor Stephen found that the pipe inside was installed improperly and placed a line to the outside for the water to drain. Hopefully it will be working. correctly now.

Three weeks ago, I've had a new AC Carrier 3ton 14.5 Seer unit (CA14NA and FV4C) installed in my 1400 sqft townhouse by Lindstrom. They had a Design Specialist from Lindstrom Air and Plumbing come to my house to give me a quote and I went with their recommendation to replace my 2014 AC Rheem 3ton unit. The Carrier unit had to run for 10\-12 hours continuously during the day to try to keep it at 75 while the thermostat slips up to 78 and later on the day down to 75. Even after getting back to the set temperature, it had to run for 3\-4 hours before stopping. Couple of technicians came to check it up and said that the unit was performing as expected. They told me that's the way it works in August in Florida and I should get used to it, despite the six thousand dollars paid for the new AC Carrier. The Installation Manager himself showed up last week and had the compressor and the thermostat replaced. He also called the next day to follow up on the unit performance. I was told: the BTUs in the Carrier unit are lower than Rheem and that's why Carrier won't make it, there was a refrigerant leak in the compressor, or around it, that was clearly visible and the thermostat was not properly insulated. Why the Design Specialist didn't realize the lack of power of the Carrier unit or why the previous technicians/supervisors didn't detect the refrigerant leak and the thermostat lack if insulation and tried to convince me that it was running fine, was not clarified. The replacement unit (24ACB7) did fine in the next couple of days, which happened to be rainy days. When the sunny days came back the unit started to do the same: not able to keep it at 75 during the day and running continuously for hours at the same temperature. The previous 2014 AC Rheem 3ton unit didn't have that problem. It would run and stop like any other AC system, but Carrier, and keeping the temperature at the set value. The absurdity keeps going when I'm told that I should expect the replacement 2 stage Carrier unit to run longer, although it hasn't been confirmed if it has to run for 10\-12 hours continuously by design as it is doing now. According to FPL, my daily usage of kWh went up after installation, so I expect to pay a higher electric bill with the new Carrier unit. Today, I'm still waiting for a solution and my advice is: don't get a Carrier and don't hire Lindstrom.

It would seem to me this should have been checked at the time of installation. Simply the best! Lindstrom Air Conditioning and Plumbing installed 2 new AC units for me this week and I couldn't be happier. Five star customer service. I received e\-mails with their license and insurance information without having to ask for it along with pictures of the technicians who would be working in my home. Steve Blair, my initial contact, was professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He used every coupon in the book to make doing both units at once a no brainer decision. Steve went over and above to communicate and make this a good experience. His estimate was clear and concise and he included things other companies never seemed to notice. I've read that when AC units fail it's most often the installation that's the culprit so I wanted to use a company that had extensive training and employees who took pride in their work. Meet Glen Gomez. Glen is a highly trained and experienced team manager. He came to my house before the work began and double checked everything after Jason's and Eric's expert installation. When a company waranties their labor for 10 years, you know they're going to do things right, and they did from start to finish.

it seems to me\-\-sales people have NEVER done the work they are shilling for.... For the most part, the guys who did the work were okay. I am not sure that they were confident in the job. and there were issues with the physicality of the install. it was a far from easy job, but that is why we selected the "40 years of experience" guys. they created ceiling issues and needed to replace the drip pan a week later.\[but it took longer to get the pan\]. information on the thermostat was slim. and no one took the time to explain it once it was up and running. still waiting on ceiling issue repair. oh, and the custom filters

A close friend and neighbor recommended that we look at Lindstrom Air Conditioniong for our AC system replacement. Very happy that we took their advice! \- Pleased with their pricing (not the cheapest of the three proposals, but certainly a value). Installation was expertly done \- Lines flushed and vacuumed, new duct/drain lines, areas cleaned and sealed. A perfect job. Unit works awesome. We were setting thermostat to 72 for comfort (spending way more on electricity than we needed to) ... Now we set it to 76 and it still feels cold. I can't wait to see what impact it will have on our electric bill! Bottom line \- Lindstrom Air Conditioning sold me a great unit (Carrier) and delivered a perfect installation. Very happy customer!

Replaced the A/C system in our two story house. Air handler was upstairs and fan was downstairs in the screened in patio. Air handler was removed and replace without a single scratch or dent in the walls. The guys were extremely careful but quick with everything. Fan was moved outside of the screened in porch area and same thing, quick and easy for them and no damage to the patio removing or relocating the fan. Overall it was an excellent experience.

Had to have the install company come out the next day for water leaks. Then had to follow up on the electrician, which when I called they said they overlooked scheduling the electrician. Also, the installers messed up my custom made fence around the AC unit and the installers didn?t care.

Lindstrom installed my new Carrier a/c unit recently. I've had a maintenance contract with them for years\-\-they are easy to schedule with and the technicians are helpful, courteous and efficient when they work\-\-so I asked them for a bid when I had to replace my existing unit. Steve came to the house, looked everything over \& provided a quote on the spot. Frankly, all the quotes I got were within a few $100s of each other so I went with Lindstrom as they were tried and true for me. Installers were good, cleaned up after themselves and worked non\-stop until the job was done. They also installed a one way supply vent in one room for me (that's my only comment: carpenters, they are not, so the finish work might have been better, but wasn't anything I couldn't fix). The extra vent that Steve recommended has done the job\-\-that room is now cool like the rest of the house. Installer went over the new thermostat programming with me, walked me through everything they'd installed and made sure all was running properly. All in all, I'd recommend Lindstrom to anyone looking for a new unit \&/or maintenance programs. So far the Carrier they recommended has been working great (but it's only been 2 weeks).

The salesman Mike was great. The installers I thought were good,aBut,I had a leak from the installation that went through my upstairs floor and it leaked into my master bathroom. Lindstrom Did take care of it, but it was stressful for me and I would prefer that it hadn't happened. The ac Carrier is ok,but I wish I had gotten another Trane.It cools differently due to the humidity factor.

Dear Sirs \& Madam, Please be advised, that we purchased a brand new five\-ton carrier unit for the amount of $11, 869.00 on 01/21/14. Our out of pocket expense was $10,056.00+. However, this unit has broken down and malfunctioned over eight times within a two\-year period. With each malfunction, it has been attributed to problems within the unit's circuit board. This unit was purchased from Lindstrom Air Conditioning Service of Pompano Beach, FL, and although we purchased an additional annual maintenance agreement, we are yet being charged for diagnostic/installation fees. This unit has been defective from the day it was installed at our home. Less than six months from the beginning, it had already broken three times. I have been using Lindstrom Air Conditioning for over 15 years. They were the contractors that installed the air conditioning for the builder when I first purchased my home. I replaced the "builder's" unit with a more efficient system about ten years ago and just replaced that system with a new Carrier system. All of my service was done by Lindstrom. Never a problem. Never a disappointment. I know this review sounds "over the top" but these guys know their business and how to treat a customer. I really do not see myself using anybody else.

Lindstrom relocated my air conditioner from the attic to my garage, and replaced all my aging duct work. They did a fantastic job! The workmanship is extremely neat and professional looking, as was everyone on the job. I've had other HVAC companies do work for me over the years, and I always regretted it after the fact. Lindstrom sent a crew of 6\-10 folks at any given time, \& they knocked the job out in a quick 1 1/2 days! There was no stepping on each other; everyone seemed happy about their job, and about working with each other. I witnessed a respect level from the younger crew, to the older/wiser crew, and an interest in learning. This was nice to see! I hate when you hire a company and the sales staff is great \& happy, then the installer shows up, and they are miserable creatures that you can't wait to leave. Not Lindstrom staff. This says a lot about how the company is run, and the expectations management has for their staff. Having worked in the construction industry for over 20 years, I have huge expectations for how a contractor should conduct themselves, and the knowledge they should have; be it about permits or the product themselves. They absolutely know their trade; from A to Z. Some companies hire labor, Lindstrom hires tradesman \& craftsman. There's a major difference between the two. You may pay a bit more for Lindstrom's work, but as the old saying goes; you get what you pay for!

I am very happy with my new carrier products. They are now working exactly like they are supposed to. After installation of new indoor and outdoor units I was not happy with the performance. The staff at Lindstrom helped me determine that my Nest thermostat was not controlling the equipment as it should be.
