It never worked right since it was installed. Had to pay for repairs, The service manual was inside unit and got wet, the company refuses to re\-give the booklet again to owner. Bad business and company to deal with, they never help you. they do not even know what the manual is inside of the unit, it is not the manual but a service, how to fix unit manual.

Literature booklet is wet, you should give to home owners, need a new book 50VR400208 catalog number 50VR \- 02S1 I have a right by law to own this information and be able to protect it, you had it inside the machine in a bag that filled up with water. I could have lamented all pages to keep as long as my unit should last. You know people own these units for years, why do you put that info inside of the unit? You should have it up on line to down load and print and save in a file. You NEED to have more respect for home owners who buy your products, we need the service, user, and installer info, so we have it protected to look at if a service worker needs to see it. Its a shame you put it in a bag inside the unit Now, it is wet and rotten. I paid $7,000.00 for this unit that never worked right. I JUST got it fixed and took the book out of the unit to save what I could. I should be able to download another copy on line. I get better service from McDonald's for a .99 cent French fry. You make too much money to give this bad of service to people who buy your products and keep you in business. You should offer better phone service and emailing for problems like mine. I need to download a better copy of this assembly booklet since I will own this machine for decades. I bought this because they say Carrier is the BEST, mine never worked right from day one, and they put the installer / service manual inside a bag in the unit to get wet within 3 years of ownership. Now, I have to fight them to get a replacement since I will use this units for 15 to 20 years or more.

I don't know what the warranty covers! I don't know what is required of me as the customer. I cannot comment on features or warranty or features. For nearly $9,000 I would have expected this to be delivered with the system. With temperatures in the high 20s temperatures in the house barely reached 70 degrees.
