Terrible unit, the installer had to practically rebuild the whole thing. They had to come back on three occasions to fix it and it was be and new. $15K wasted.

the unit was supposed to be one of the best rated, I was in a pinch, needed it to replace my existing. I called Mike and Son (who we had a contract with) and they recommended this one. It never worked well for the first month. They had to come back and do a repair/switch parts and it was brand new. Never using Carrier again.

We’ve had a few hiccups in its functioning about three times in the first year. Not ideal, unfortunately.

The gas pack unit has been great so far. It replaced our 27 year old unit and it is so much more efficient than the old one. It is super quiet and I'm looking forward to replacing the upstairs unit that is next to it, its so loud, when the time comes.

Filter Maintenace Problem

The door to access the unit filter is a terrible design. You have to take the side panel off the unit and the filters do not fit very well. The door needs to secure with cam locks with a hinge on the door. Also, the filter rack needs to be redesigned to allow the filters to easily slide in and out.
