Overview
The Carrier® 40VMV VRF Vertical Air Handling Unit is a multi‑positional indoor unit designed for vertical or horizontal installation, making it well suited for closet applications. Available in capacities from 18,000 to 53,500 Btuh, the 40VMV features a DC fan motor with multiple fan speeds and a built‑in IR receiver, and is compatible with Carrier VRF heat pump and heat recovery outdoor units and controls.

Features
Built to meet NEC wiring and ETL construction requirements, the unit incorporates proven components including a DC fan motor and finned tube heat exchanger. It is designed for use with R‑410A refrigerant to support dependable VRF operation.
Standard control quick connects help simplify installation, while all indoor unit settings are configured through the remote controller. An IR receiver comes standard, reducing the need for additional accessories.
