Great product!
What a difference a new HVAC system makes!!

I replaced a 23-year old furnace, and a 22-year old A/C at the same time in August 2025 (original HVAC in new house). During our hot spells so far, I believe there is a marked difference in the comfort of the two story house, with temperature set at 76. Last winter was more comfortable, too, with the new furnace keeping a steadier warmth. Thank you, Carrier!
Horrible Carrier product!

Unit freezes up constantly. Will cool my home down to below 75 degrees. Coffman & Company has been out several times for adjustments that have not solved the issue. Now recommend another unit at an additional cost to me. That won’t happen. I will pay attorney fees before paying for another unit.

Big and pretty but not reliable?

The idea of it is great but the first time I turned it on for it's first season it burned a fuse. The technician came out and told me that it's supposed to do that. That there's nothing wrong with the system and it will occasionally burn a fuse. Which means the reliability of having a new AC is a pipe dream it actually isn't reliable. Do I believe that no I do not but That is what he decided to tell me instead of telling me that it was installed incorrectly or there was something that needed to be fixed. He actually fixed something while he was here and just chose not to tell me because it might make his company to look bad. We have tested it quite a bit the last couple of weeks since that experience and the fuse hasn't gone out again. Time will tell whether or not this thing is reliable. I chose carrier because I was told it can be trusted to do the job. Now I am questioning that. That whole experience put a bad taste in my mouth though. The unit itself seems to be good and my only complaint about it would be that it's gigantic. You would think technology would have advanced more to where it wouldn't have to have such big giant ac's to do the same size job.

Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
