The Carrier® 38VMH VRF heat pump outdoor unit is a modular, high‑performance solution designed for commercial buildings requiring scalable and efficient heating and cooling. Available in single, dual, or triple module configurations, the system delivers capacities from 6 to 36 tons and supports connection of up to 64 indoor units using a 2‑pipe heat pump design. Inverter‑driven scroll compressors and DC inverter fan motors provide efficient operation across a wide ambient range, while compliance with NEC, ETL, and AHRI 1230 standards makes the 38VMH a reliable choice for multi‑zone commercial HVAC applications.

Built to meet NEC, ETL, and AHRI 1230 standards, the 38VMH uses inverter‑driven components, a finned tube heat exchanger, and R‑410A refrigerant for dependable operation. A 2‑pipe system, integrated controls, auto‑addressing, and quick‑connect control architecture help simplify installation and system commissioning.
