Issue is knowing if it is working

When the controller is working properly it seems to work fine. Our problem has been that when we experience an electrical power failure the controller sometimes does not come on again when the power is restored. We have woken up several mornings to discover a very cold main floor on our house. The only way to know the controller is not working is to look at it (to see a black screen). The only way to get it to work is to pull it off the wall and then reinsert it in its holder. This is the 2nd generation of the controller we have had and we had a similar issue with the first generation. Given that you have an APP (which I have installed), the app should give some type of notification that the controller is offline. Your marketing story really breaks down in this area.

The Infinity System Control SYSTXCCITC01-C Thermostat that I use to control my Carrier Greenspeed HVAC system make it very easy to control temperature schedules and other settings on my system. I can also see the utility usage and cost. It uses Wi-Fi and an app to control it from anywhere with Internet access. Firmware updates install through the Internet, very easy. I recommend it.

This thermostat is not as good as the one it replaced, an old infinity unit. It over cools by 3 deg and over heats by 2.

The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
