Whole House Humidifier maintains Humidity to 2%RH of setpoint. Slight water hiss and blower duct noise

The Whole House Humidifier works well meeting the setpoint within 2% RH. My thermostat can only set the humidity in 5% increments. The humidifier fan has some vibration noise that you can hear through the ductwork. I have had whole house humidifiers for 40 years, and the ductwork noise of this model is no better nor worse. I had to have the HVAC installation company come and tell me what model replacement humidifier pad can be used. We have city water and a water softener, and the first pad lasted all winter without plugging. Overall working well for the first 9 months.

To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
