The Infinity® 80 ultra-low NOx gas furnace is engineered to deliver reliable comfort while meeting or exceeding new low-emission requirements established by Colorado, California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District, and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District. It produces significantly lower nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions, helping to reduce contributors to smog and acid rain. With an 80% AFUE rating, it delivers balanced energy efficiency for moderate heating savings. Engineered with Comfort Heat Technology® and Ideal Humidity System™ capabilities, when paired with an Infinity® System Control. Immediate failure of the blower motor. Unfortunately, it took a while to diagnose since the error code decal did not contain the error code that was indicated. That was late on installation Friday and Carrier was closed for the weekend. Suffered through cold until part was obtained on following Monday. Not a thrilling experience.

1. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a 10-year parts limited warranty, which can be changed to the 5-year parts, plus a 3-year labor option on eligible equipment within the first 90 days after installation. The 5-year parts, plus 3-year labor warranty option is available only if the installing dealer/contractor has elected to participate in the Consumer Choice warranty program and has accepted the Consumer Choice dealer terms and conditions.
2. To the original owner on eligible equipment for eligible residential applications. Lifetime heat exchanger parts limited warranty period is 20 years if not registered within 90 days. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will automatically receive a lifetime heat exchanger parts limited warranty. See warranty certificate for details.
This furnace does comply with SCAQMD Rule 1111 or SJVAPCD Rule 4905, which places a NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J. Therefore, this unit is eligible to be installed in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) nor the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD).
