Initial installation was incorrect \- they reran ductwork. basement was cooling with first floor \- came back out to try to fix it. Ultimately did not work. Sent top tech out \- things appear to be working better now.

I decided to upgrade my furnace and it was a great decision to use RA Heating for my Carrier furnace. They took a lot of care when entering my home on a rainy day and did a fantastic job. Runs awesome, I don't even hear it other than the forced air blowing. I have used RA Heating in the past for tune ups and will continue into the future. Excellent choice

Wrong size initially ordered even though I told 2 different people the old one was oversized for the house. I had to wait another 6 weeks for install. Given wrong balance and ended up sending 2 checks.

The installers were careful to protect our home when taking out old equipment and brining in and installing new Carrier equipment. They were extremely efficient and professional! Ryan (the "R" of "RA") was terrific, spent a lot of time with us, went through options for replacing our furnace and ac, and was very good with our small attentive dog. His crew worked hard all day. And \-\- the cost was several thousand dollars below our other estimate.

We had hail damage to our home in May of 2018. The service technician noticed our AC unit was near the end of it's lifespan. The unit performed well through the summer, and froze up in the fall. We had a new Carrier unit installed in June of 2019. The team was there as scheduled, installed the new AC, and answered all of my questions. They cleaned up behind them, and were nothing but professional! We've used their services in the past with our furnace service calls too. The price that was quoted, was the exact price we paid. We are very happy with R.A. Heating \& AC!

Not able to say anything about this company i was not home at the time of the installation. I had left my door unlocked and I had asked to be notified when the technician was there. No call no text. Not even a more or Bill on the counter. poor customer service.

After doing a lot of research and contacting some other contractors, R A Heating was the only one that gave me the information I wanted and needed to purchase the products I was interested in. They also gave me options on products and reasonable prices and service. The others were evasive and I thought were not concerned with the information I gave them about my needs. They were greatly overpriced with lesser products. R A already new what was installed in my home but still ca,me out and did a through inspection, with no pressure to commit to purchase anything. They gave me the product information in writing along with prices and left the decision up to me, no pressure.

We recently had a Carrier furnace installed that replaced our old one. From meeting with Ryan to discuss our options and select our furnace to the completion of the install by Nate and Art, all went very well. Ryan took time with us to be sure we made the right choice for our needs and went through and showed us the mechanics of how the furnaces functioned. When install day came, Nate and Art did an excellent job of removing our old furnace and installing our new one. They were both professional and worked with us to be sure we knew how the new furnace and thermostat functioned. All in all, a great experience! We are happy with our choice and thank everyone for making it possible.

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. I WAS ADVISED AFTER INSTALLATION THAT THERE WOULD BE A BURNING SMELL FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES. AFTER 5 HOURS WITH THE SMELL SO BAD, I TURNED THE SYSTEM OFF AND WE RAN THE WOOD BURNER. THE FOLLOWING MORNING I CALLED FOR SERVICE. HE ARRIVED AND FOUND THAT THE OXYGEN WAS AT 20 PERCENT AND THERE WAS NO CO2. BEYOND THAT, HE SAID THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO AND CALL THE OWNER ON MONDAY MORNING. ON SUNDAY, WE CALLED AN ILLINOIS COMPANY AND HE CAME UP AND TORE THE SYSTEM APART. HE FOUND A 4 INCH BY 10 INCH PIECE OF PLASTIC ON THE BLOWER MOTOR. THIS WAS THE BURNING SMELL. HE ALSO FOUND THE HOT WATER HEATER HAD BEEN TURNED OFF AND NOT TURNED BACK ON BY THE INSTALLERS. OF COURSE, MY WIFE ALSO FOUND THAT OUT WHEN SHE GOT INTO THE SHOWER. IT WAS A ROUGH WEEKEND. THE INSTALLERS ADVISED ME THAT SOMEONE WILL BE OUT IN THE SPRING TO CHECK THE AIR CON TO DETERMINE THAT IT HAS ENOUGH FREON AND IS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. I WILL USE THE ILLINOIS COMPANY TO DO THAT AS WELL.

RA saved me $1250 and did a perfect installation

Outstanding technical skills and great professional service in all aspects \-\- they bent over backwards to schedule and accommodate a moving target job. Totally delivered and staved off disaster in several emergency situations that would have otherwise been the perfect storm. (only cannot recommend the product yet because it is too soon and I have hardly used it)

The job was replacing a similar older furnace. The crew was quick but careful and did a very nice installation. i have not actually run the furnace yet but test runs have been good. It's hard to judge the equipment until it's run for a while but furnace reviews are positive and I have faith in the respected local vender.

We have been customers of R and A Heating \& Air Conditioning since we built our house in 1992. They have always been there for us, especially when in the first year, the furnace's motor gave out. They fixed it \- and the furnace and AC lasted almost 25 years. They have even helped us over the phone to resolve minor issues suitable for do\-it\-yourself. When the AC finally gave out and the furnace gave indications that it wasn't as 'healthy' as it used to be, we got proposals from various installers and manufacturers. In the end, looking at price versus product, it was clear that we wanted to go with R and A and Carrier again. We have been satisfied for a quarter of a century and expect we will be just as happy with the installer and product in the future. The most recent installation was a breeze \- competent and courteous installers \- and the equipment looks solid and (for a furnace and AC) attractive.

Replace a superior product.

I had gotten a whole new ac/heating unit installed. Everyone I had worked with at R.A. was very friendly and very helpful. This was my first experience with this type of thing and they made it very easy and answered all my silly questions. I will definitely keep going back to them for all my heating and cooling needs.

My 17 year old A/C system had broken down and complete replacement made more sense than repairing a soon to be obsolete one, or replacing it and matching it with an old furnace. The crew showed up on time, performed the work in a very professional manner, and completed the job in about 6 hours.
