Even corrected an installation problem by FHFUR after two attempts

Answered my questions. took time to show features and "how to".

Needed to come back on at least two occasions to correct errors in installation and setup of the system. One allowed a leak of my humidifier from attic to first floor. Not good. Also did not recommend a better heat pump from Mitsubishi which would have helped achieve heating in the extreme temperatures we saw this winter without utilizing my backup gas furnace and propane tank.

Woodfin replaced my old Heat Pump in my 1950s home. The attic unit sits above a whole house fan and they did a great job positioning it above the fan housing. The new wiring and drain hose were custom\-fitted to my attic. Techs cut and installed a new return with minimal dust in our dining room ceiling. The outside unit has a smaller footprint and they were careful to build a level base. Their lead tech patiently explained the new Wi\-Fi\-enabled wall control unit to me and my wife. Overall very professional work!

Very professional team. Answered all of my questions, and described the work they would do. The install looks clear and uncluttered and easy to maintain in the future. Went the extra steps to ensure that the outside unit was off the ground sufficiently and that surrounding vegetation was trimmed back. Did great prep/post work to make sure that our home was clean.

Decided to proactively replace my 13 yr old HVAC system. Chose Woodfin because of their personal letter and the variety of financing options. I have been a Woodfin Customer for over 19 Years. First, I have found them to be honest and trustworthy. They have always been on time, performed high quality work and have the most up to date technology. They have always been Friendly, Courteous, Friendly, and Knowledgeable. I have Numerous Serious and Life\-Threatening Illnesses to Include Cardiac Issues. I have been in and out of the Hospital many times over. to include Several Admissions to ICU. This Past Friday, I was discharged after a 2 Day Admission from having a Double Cardiac Ablation. Upon entering My Home, the Inside Temperature was in the 90's. It was Very Suffocating, and My Heat Pump was Blowing Warm Air. I Immediately Called Woodfin, I explained My Situation, along with My Health Issues, and that I had just returned Home from a 2 Day Hospital Stay, having had a Cardiac Surgical Procedure. The Phone Rep was Very Professional, Understanding, and Empathetic. She said that she would get a Tech to My Home ASAP. While she did not have an ETA, she said it would be as soon as they Possibly Could. In just under 3 years of My Call a HVAC Technician arrived, Dylan Thompson. Like all Woodfin Employees I have dealt with over the years Dylan was Very Knowledgeable, Friendly, and Understanding. Dylan spent several hours trying to get my System back up and running. Unfortunately, My Heat pump is 17 Plus Years Old and has seen its better days. Therefore, to My Dismay My Unit has to be replaced. Really not what I needed at this point in My Life, but it is what it is. While this will obviously take some time for the replacement, Dylan told me that a Woodfin Rep would be at My Home by 7:30 AM the Next Morning, Saturday, with a Couple of Window AC Units to provide me with Cooling until Replacement can be done. Dylan went above and beyond even attempting to get the Portable AC Units delivered that afternoon. However, it was after 6PM on a Friday and the Rep had to go out and purchase additional Portable units. A little after 7AM Saturday Morning, My Phone rings and it was a Woodfin Rep, Daren Lancaster. Daren advised Me that he was enroute to My home with 2 Portable AC Units to Provide Me with Some Cooling Relief. Daren arrived at My Home a Little After 7:20AM. Daren was again Friendly, Knowledgeable, and Professional. Daren was also Very Empathic about My Medical Issues and Needs. He was Very Apologetic about not being able to make it the evening before, but he ensured that I was First on his Schedule Saturday Morning. I want to Give Big Kudos to Woodfin, The Home Team. Woodfin Undoubtedly Cares about Their Customers. Woodfin also ensures that their Customers with Serious Health Issues are placed at Number One Top Priority for Service. With My being 2 Days Post Double Cardiac Ablation, Congestive Heart Failure, Asthma, along with Still recovering from Cellulitis which placed me in the Hospital for 3 days just a Week Prior to the Ablation. If it were not for Woodfin's Quick Service getting me those 2 Portable AC Units, I would have very very likely had to be Hospitalized Yet Again. Since My Current Heat Pump was Approximately 17 Years Old and the Compressor had gone it was time to replace the system. Typical Lifespan for Heat Pumps is 10\-12 Years. Considering I got an additional 5\-7 Years of service from this Unit was a Blessing. I believe the Only reason I was able to get these additional 5\-7 Years of Service was because not only did Woodfin install this Unit approximately 17 Years Ago, but I also Used Woodfin Twice Yearly to Conduct both the Summer and Winter Maintenance on the Unit for the Entire 17 Years. Woodfin fully handled everything for Me and approximately 10 Days Latter they had Install Crews at My Home with the New Equipment. The Installation Crews were Very Professional and Knowledgeable. In a day and a half time span they Ripped Out My Old System and Installed My New System. They removed the 2 Window AC Units that had lent Me as well as Placed My Window Screens Back into My 2 Windows. They Left Absolutely No Mess Whatsoever in doing this Large Job. They also Fully Answered all My Questions, as well as Showed Concern and Empathy over My Numerous Serious Health Issues. I will obviously use Woodfin to Complete both the Summer and Winter Maintenance on this new Unit as Well, Knowing that it is in Very Good Hands. I have been Using Woodfin for close to 20 Years Now for My Home which was Built in 2002. I Not only use Woodfin for My HVAC Needs, but I also Use Woodfin for My Plumbing and Electrical Needs as Well. I would Never Ever Consider using any other Company. Woodfin by Far is Your Home Team and I Would and Have Highly Recommended Them to Anyone. Thank You Woodfin, You are Undoubtedly My Home Team. The mini split installation went well and all the techs were meticulous with the installation and they were very polite. So far the system is working great. The real test will be when the cold winds of winter comes.

I have been using Woodfin for years for service and oil deliveries . When it was time to replace my existing system , they presented a contract price that I found to be exactly what I needed at a reasonable price. All employees that were involved in this replacement system were knowable. They arrived at scheduled date and time . I plan on using Woodfin as long as I own a home.

We had our 21 year old downstairs system replaced instead of trying to limp it along one more summer. I had 3 companies come by to give quotes. One small independent dealer looked good but added 3.5% to the price if you used a credit card and had no financing option. One large local company gave me incorrect info concerning where competitors units were built and incorrect info regarding county codes. Woodfin wasn't the cheapest and they did seem to know what they were doing. The AC quit running after 2 days and the sales rep knew that it was a drain issue. The service tech showed up about 2 hours after I called and verified that a stopped drain set off a safety switch. He cleared and drain and things started right up.

William Davis, the salesman with Woodfin is excellent. I asked for the most experienced person. He definitely knows his stuff.
