The entire staff was knowledgeable and worked to provide us with a new furnace and heat pump when our old one quit working during cold weather. Couldn't have asked for better service.

I am happy with Specialty Heating, but not satisfied with Carrier. 2 units installed were defective. I always thought it was one of the best and most reliable, but now I would hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I chose Carrier, honestly, because the dealer was the most responsive and informative of all installers I had contacted in my area. It made it an easy decision to go with Carrier.

Nic was very knowledgeable and understood the reason why we were upgrading. He told us something none of the others had: that our current furnace was actually too big for the house. He recommended the right size of furnace and A/C and got us at the right price point... not the most expensive (and most maintenance\-intensive), but not the cheapest, either. I was especially impressed by how quickly they were able to take care of us. We didn't have to wait months for our new furnace; it was just in time for the colder weather!

My experience with Specialty Heating \& Cooling was excellent. From the estimate/sales process all the way through installation, Specialty employees were knowledgeable, thorough and had excellent customer service that wasn't sales\-pitchy. I had a 5\-6 other estimates that tried to take advantage and sell me things I didn't need or tell me I needed to do unnecessary things for my installation. The installer and electrician were great too. I'm super happy with my experience with this company, and I would definitely recommend them.

I am very pleased and impressed with the service provided by Specialty Heating \& Cooling LLC. In early 2019 I met with 5 local HVAC representatives from various companies to compare product lines and receive quotes. After meeting with Greg Marshall, Home Solutions Advisor, I decided to purchase a new Carrier HVAC system to replace the existing Lennox Gas Furnace \& Air Conditioner. Greg presented the options clearly and advised when Carrier offered Cool Cash discount incentives. Checking reviews for both Carrier and Specialty Heating \& Cooling the decision was easy. I delayed signing the contract until 2021 due to Covid, but the installation was completed last week. Andrew coordinated the installation with assistance by David. All went well! It is a very clean install with no hiccups. I highly recommend their services.

My furnace quit working the day before a winter storm was due to hit the Portland area in February. I called the next morning and there was a tech at my house by 9:00 am to diagnose the problem. It was determined that the furnace was not going to be able to be fixed. By 2:00 pm that day there was an advisor at my home to help me decide what the replacement would be, when it would be able to be installed and brought me two space heaters to help keep the house comfortable until the new furnace was going to be installed. I had a new furnace in three days. Every person that I spoke with through this process was professional, sensitive to the urgency of this situation, didn't try to over sell me, and were just the best. Great team of folks!

Specialty Heating \& Cooling has been servicing our HVAC equipment for over 8 years, installed a replacement furnace and some duct work for us in 2013, and installed a replacement AC system in 2021. They've done good work for us and given us good advice. We are really happy with the furnace and look forward to using the new AC system this summer. Highly recommend this company.

First, I had three appointments with Specialty Heating and they were right on time for each appointment. Second, the sales rep told me it was not cost effective for me to upgrade to a more efficient furnace. Third, the price the sales rep gave me was several hundred dollars less than other quotes I received. And fourth, each person I meet from Specialty Heating was friendly and very respective of our home.

We had our heater serviced and discovered that the heat exchange was failing and that it was producing low levels of CO, which were not fatal to adults, but we have a 4 month in the house. Specialty Heating and Cooling got an estimator out to see us the day after I called at 4pm, and we had a new furnace being installed on the following Monday. They had a great price, and helped us find rebates to make sure we had the best furnace for our house.

This company is superb. They are on time, clean, know their product line and your existing equipment, and listen to your needs rather than just trying to upsell. Their employees are long term and work as a great team without conflict or fumbling while smoothly coordinating activities. My 1984 furnace finally became unrepairable. They immediately had someone out for the estimate and did the replacement the next day. It involved taking the old one out of a tight space next to a water heater in the back of a closet in a basement bedroom. and installing a new one in the same space. They managed to do this without ruining my wool carpet or making any mess. They also improved how I change the air filter so I don't have to get down on my hands and knees nor open the access panel covering the motor. The found I was eligible for rebates and did all the paperwork. The work was completed in one day. I wish all businesses took as much pride and case as these folks. I found them honest, reliable, and trustworthy. .

The installers, Austin, Josh, and Ryan, were concerned with keeping things clean as well as making sure things were operating correctly before leaving.

The furnace is quieter than the old unit. Only time will determine its efficacy and money savings. The thermostat is another matter; it is not easy to program and in auto mode the timing does not correspond with my settings, an example, I set the sleep mode to start cooling at 9:30pm. The thermostat will start cooling anywhere between 8:30 and 8:40pm. When programmed to heat at 6:30am it begins heating any where between 6:25 and 6:50am. If this can?t be corrected my only option is to use manual mode to set heating and cooling.

The sales person was very knowledgeable. Can't say much about the equipment since it's winter and it's not in use. Carrier does have a good reputation. There were a few bumps with the installation, but the technician was very responsive and the issues were corrected.

New furnace

It all starts with a salesperson. I was shopping for a quiet furnace and we went back and forth with the sales rep on all of my options. I got recommendations on the system that I needed and we went through the questions and answers on why we take one option and not the other. In the end I was persuaded, but it took some amount of persistence on their side. Competitors were not willing to check back with me, but this one was calling back once a week and for me it contributed to a positive image of the dealership. Plus the price was competitive. Installation went smooth. One guy did everything, spent half a day, now everything works and so far I'm happy with the system performance. Have to wait till winter to be able to put it at real test though.

Specialty Heating Cooling Inc did a very professional job from the sales person through scheduling and install. I was offered a better product at a good price as the DB level was much lower, yet within my budget expectation. I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know who needs heating or cooling services or products.

I will say we have not had the opportunity to use the air conditioner as we just purchased it. This unit was not the least expensive nor was it the most expensive bid we received. We purchased Carrier for the years the company has been in business successfully, the unit has a fantastic warranty and they appear to stand by their products. The sales person we purchased from had answers to all of our questions and had installation experience.

Specialty HVAC did an outstanding job of providing service for our old unit and then providing advice and installation for the new equipment. The sales process and installation process went exactly as scheduled and without problem. We really appreciate their expertise.
