I had a 14 year old carrier weathermaker with a plugged secondary heat exchanger. I am a furnace repairman and knew of the heat exchanger problem so I wasn't surprised when I began to have problems. I spoke with a service rep from Great Lakes Carrier and he gave me 3 contractors I could deal with and Mikes was at the top of his list. I spoke with Mike and he gave me the option of a free heat exchanger replacement or the buy back through carrier. I chose to have a new furnace installed and take the buy back from carrier and the rebates from Consumer's energy and DTE. This totaled $1000 towards the purchase of the new furnace. The most amazing part of the whole deal was that Mike had his installers to my home by 12 noon and I had heat by 4PM. The job looks great, his guys did a great job, they cleaned up after themselves and left my home looking the way it did when they arrived. If you need a new furnace call Mikes, you won't be disappointed

During the coldest part of this winter, my furnace stopped. Mike's came out ASAP, found the problem, lent me two heaters until the very next day when they installed a new furnace. They were pleasant, courteous, careful, and skilled. Was a pleasant experience. Will definitely call them again.
