I've hired Service Professor several times now and every time they are organized, easy to communicate with, and get the job done for a reasonable price. In this case (our furnace broke in February), we were in urgent need of assistance and they took care of us promptly.

Carrier is the problem.

Everything was great

I had a team of 3 young gentlemen come to replace my furnace and air conditioner due to the fact that my furnace was "red tagged". It was a "special" if both were purchased and my AC was just as old. So, I got both. The salesman didn't explain exactly what changes in Carrier furnaces would be evident so I was surprised to see the footprint a bit bigger and the previous furnace. I was also to get the duct cleaning but was unaware that they would be cutting holes into my duct work to do so and refused their service. I felt there were enough vents and the furnace was totally removed at one point so why cut holes! The installers did a good job with minimal clean up on my part. The main gentleman who installed the furnace was quite young but very experienced and had an older gentleman stop in to review the work before finishing. They also arranged to have the inspector come and certify the installation the next day.

Furnace is leaking and came to fix after new installation and still leaks was going to charge to fix when the installation obviously was done correctly. Supposedly fixed yet still leaking. I also told them numerous times to contact my spouse due to me working out of town and her being a stay at home mom yet still contacted me numerous times .

Installers did not seem to know what they were doing and just wanted to leave quickly without finishing their work. Had to call them back twice to get the furnace working properly.

The product themselves were on the pricey side however I absolutely love them so far. I would definitely recommend the brand (Carrier) to others and I also would recommend The Service Professor to install it again they did a great job.

Service guys were very respectful and truthful. I had a chimney liner that was put in on the quote to be installed and when they arrived and saw the liner was to code they had formed me and didn't install the new one since it wasn't needed. Very honest guys.

Great company to work with fast service. And answered any questions that I had. Fix a few problems that came up during installation that were not noticed prior.

The team that installed the furnace and AC were efficient and showed expertise. Upon project completion, you couldn't even tell any work had been done in the basement, it was so clean. The project finished at night so we were unable to see the AC unit and area. In the morning we looked and they outdoor area where the team worked was a mess. There were packaging materials and scraps scattered around, and our landscaping in the area of the AC unit was totally ruined.

I worked with Mark Hibbert to have a new furnace installed at my mother's house and he did everything he could to help me get the unit installed fast. He also provided a detailed outline of the services that come with using Service Professor which are great perks.

While hoping to get another year or two out of an aging furnace, it inevitably died during a peak heating season. Service Professor handled everything promptly and communicated well throughout the process. They provided complimentary space heaters to help bridge the gap before they could replace the equipment. They did have to push back installation one day later due to issues out of their control, but when they showed up the following day, a total of approximately 7 technicians over the course of the day removed the existing furnace and AC units, installed new units, replaced line sets, installed new electrical service to meet code, etc. All technicians were professional, courteous, and great to work with.

The furnace was installed Friday and Saturday morning I had no heat. So I called and they sent someone out within 3 hours. It was cold that day but the guy knew what he was doing and fixed it right away. The installers apparently didn't tighten a bolt and it set off the safety feature, which automatically shut the furnace down.

Everyone we have dealt with in this company has been pleasant and friendly and eager to help. Our furnace died and I couldn't find anyone to come out that day, until I called Service Professor. They came out within hours, diagnosed the problem and gave us options. We chose to have a new system put in, both furnace and AC. The installation team worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their service.

First, I believe we were over\-charged by 25\-30%. Second, after the installation we noticed it didn't feel as warm as the thermostat was indicating and it wasn't holding where it was set, so we called the next day. A tech came out and looked at it \- he went over how to use the wifi thermostat with us (which the first tech hadn't done), but didn't change anything. Today we noticed that the a/c was running (in January, in Michigan!) and the lines to the a/c unit outside were frozen, so we called again. Turns out, the original tech miss\-wired the thermostat, so the heat and a/c were both running at the same time! Hence, it not feeling warm or maintaining the temperature. I'm not looking forward to our energy bill! Hopefully this will fix the issue and we won't need to call again.

After a month installation still not complete. Doing great work just not very organized getting proper installers to house all together to get job done.

We had what was identified as a defective part that caused furnace to shut off. Called customer service. Repairman responded and came out and fixed it even though it was 9:00 pm. Great attitude even though he had put in 14 hour day.

Service Professor provided prompt service when our old AC failed. I called on a Friday to report my AC failure, a installation coordinator was out on the following Monday to give us a price on replacement and installation was scheduled for the next day. I called another company to get a comparison bid. Two weeks later, they haven't called back. Service Professor is professional, polite, competent and communicates options thoroughly.

They removed our old equipment, installed the new and did not leave a mess behind. Interacted with us and our dog and made us very comfortable. Made the effort to work around our dog being loose so he wouldn't have to be in his Kennel all day.

Their salesperson Wendell Wilson was at my home within a few hours of calling for a quote. Easy to tell he knew a lot about his products and service crew as we went through our home and he explained what would be needed and how it would be done. One comment he made early on " I'm not here to try to up\-sell you on things you really don't need", convinced me that this was the right company for us. He went on to explain paybacks on certain upgrades and add on's and we opted on some but not on the too long term ones. I am convinced we have the right equipment, capacity and backup to keep our house cool in the summer seasons to come.
