While the folks at Mechanical Extremes have always been friendly, both our new units were installed incorrectly, costing us not just the purchase and installation cost of $40k or so, but thousands of dollars more in heating throughout the winter vs our older, less “efficient” system because neither of our new ones worked correctly.

Service would have been 5 stars if they had communicated with me more.

Mechanical Extremes was fantastic to deal with. I reached out for a quote and they came out quickly and followed up several times in a very professional manner. They were not the cheapest quote we got but were most responsive throughout the whole process compared to the others. They came out and installed as planned and made sure we were satisfied. They also did a follow up call to ensure everything was working properly. In a time where customer service seems to be a thing of the past, Mechanical Extremes Heating and Cooling stuck out to us and we are glad we went with them. We would highly recommend, and they will be my first call for any future needs.

From the owners first visit, to the end of the installation, everything was excellent. A previous company had said a fan assist humidifier would not fit in my space, so I was calling about a steam humidifier. When the owner came out and looked at the situation, he show with a bit of rerouting of the furnace intake and exhaust lines, one would fit. The installers were neat, careful of my home and the install was neat, no hanging wires etc. It's no wonder this carrier dealer has won numerous awards and has excellent customer reviews.

Ben our technician walked us through the problem with our furnace and all of the options we had. We ultimately decided to with a new furnace. The two gentlemen that came to install our furnace were efficient, kind, prompt and answered all of our questions without hesitation. The job was completed by early afternoon. All warranties were explained to us throughly as well as the installation process. Two young installers were sent out for the install…energetic, courteous and knowledgeable…couldn't ask for anything more. Had 5 star service since the first phone call I made to set up an appt for an estimate. Very polite service over the phone. Came right out for an estimate and explained everything. Gave us a quote on a good quality Carrier AC unit replacement for our house. Installed right away with very knowledgeable people. Can't say enough good things. Whole process took less then 2 weeks.

Installers were on time and made sure heating was functional at end of first day (nights still cold). They finished rest of air conditioning on 2nd day then cleaned up. They reviewed system operation and tips for best operation. Then after the job I was told they submitted to Consumer's to get me a rebate for the high efficiency system. Just a great overall experience, would recommend to anyone.

They were able to get us scheduled immediately the next day for our furnace that was no longer working. It was determined it would be best to get a new furnace, we ordered yesterday and it came with in a week. They showed up as scheduled, on time and provided friendly knowledgeable efficient service. We were pleased from all aspects of the initial call through installation and them completing the furnace warranty registration. I would definitely recommend them.

The owner was quick to respond and able to completely install our new furnace and AC within two days of coming out to evaluate the situation. They also offered new products with a handheld video presentation and did not pressure the sale.

I have used this company twice before. Once to repair an air conditioner, great job, fair price. Once to relocate a heat duct, ok job, I feel I paid for them to train their apprentice. Cost was double what I expected. On this new furnace, installer was not familiar with product. Installer did not clean existing connecting duct work. Price seemed fair. We'll see how the product performs.

Service has been good. We did have a recent 11/10 approx. experience with the unit shutting down on a cold night. Their service tech came out after hours and determined it was an overheating problem. Filter replaced and it has been ok since.

Our existing small home only had a space type gas heater located in the living room area. Mechanical Extremes removed the stand alone heater and provided a complete install of a new efficient furnace with air conditioning, along with all the forced air ductwork, diffusers and a Wi\-Fi thermostat. Mechanical Extremes did a great job!

Company owner troubleshot my existing Carrier furnace unit. Found several problems, starting with the heat exchanger, which was still under warranty. Thoroughly explained what other problems could be wrong with the unit, and recommended I replace it. Workers showed up the next day, were courteous and efficient, and had the furnace replaced by the end of the day. Nice to have heat again! Would strongly recommend Mechanical Extremes to anyone doing a replacement or installing a new system

Complete installation of duct work in roughed in bonus room originally done when house was built. Workers were knowledgeable, efficient and cleaned up when the work was completed. Price was competitive and fair.
