Air Conditioner Repair & Service

Hecox staff are a pleasure to work with. They are efficient, professional, and responsible.

Hecox was great. There was a small delay in getting one of the parts but we still got it installed well before summer. They finished in less than a day.

We had HECOX replace a boiler and hot water heater in a rental property we own. Their service was outstanding: installation was smooth, crew arrived on time, replaced both units as well as setting a liner in the chimney for exhaust from both units, left property clean and tidy. Gayle and Martin were a joy to work with, as well as the crew who did the installs. When the furnace in our house went south several days ago, there was no question but that Hecox would do the install of the new. Eli, Alex, and the crew that did the install did excellent work. Nicole in the office set up the appointment as well as setting the appointments for the inspections from the State of Maryland and WSSC. What I appreciated were the messages regarding the one\-hour window in which the crews would arrive and any texts if the crew was running late. We have Hecox do the routine maintenance for our furnace and heat pump as well as the boiler in our rental, in Spring and Fall. Same great service and customer care. Could not ask for any better than Hecox.

Great people \- excellent technical and people skills; highly professional

Hecox technician corrected previous furnace installation issue with air intake and furnace exhaust piping. I feel confident that my new furnace was installed very well and will hopefully have few issues in the future. I found out about Hecox Home Services from Washington Checkbook Magazine, a local consumer periodical that rates services in the Washington, DC area.

Excellent service (as always); provided clear and detailed answers to questions; highly responsive

From the first exploratory visit, to the detailed proposal that reflected all our requests, to the actual installation, we could not have asked for better treatment. At every step we felt confident that we were dealing with a company with integrity that insisted on doing quality work and that respected its customers.

Smooth HVAC install and no start\-up issues. Quoted humidifier could not be installed due to Carrier discontinued the proposed coil and location of existing water heater. Subsequent water heater relocation was priced by others at $1,000.

Excellent service

Excellent, knowledgeable staff for estimate, pre\-installation inspection and installation. Friendly with pride in providing good service, and a product they believe in.

Very responsive to our questions and concerns. A very professional, polite and congenial crew.

Every person from Hecox has been professional, efficient, and easy to deal with. They take time to explain options and the operations of the the equipment. The installation was flawless: arrived on time, wore masks \& used drop cloths inside the house, and cleaned up at the end. Great attention to detail.

Spectacular service. Very professional. Excellent follow through.

Prompt, polite service. Gave us several options for repairing or replacing our HVAC. Work completed correctly and on time.

Can say enough positive things about HECOX! Professional, did a great job installing, cleaned up, and improved HVAC wiring and electrical!

From start to finish, their service was seamless and spot on. I cannot rate them high enough.

Exceptional customer service.

Hecox has been servicing my CAC systems for the past 2 years. I discovered them on Checkbook.org. They are a very good company. I am very pleased.

Very happy

The techs were professional and efficient. This was a very challenging installation and they did a great job and cleaned up afterwards

Great company

Great experience with Hecox, very upfront about pricing and recommendations, and thoroughly explained everything they did.

We are really pleased with our ac installation by Hecox Home Services. Everything went smoothly and the service was exceptional!

Hecox Home Services is an exceptional family owned business providing personal attention and quality service. Martin and the entire Hecox Home Services Team are the absolute best in the business! We have already recommended them to others who received the same level of care and professional service.

This is the letter I sent Hecox after they installed my new AC system. It says it all. Hi Martin, I just had to write you to let you know how impressed we were with Alex and his team. They were stellar. They were incredibly polite, considerate, competent, efficient, quiet, careful, skilled and I could go on. We feel very fortunate to have found you through Consumers' Checkbook and we look forward to recommending you highly and having Hecox as our HVAC service provider. I would also like to thank you and the office staff who answer our phone calls. You have been super professional and pleasant to work with and have made this whole process painless. We know we are in really good hands! Please share this note with other members of the administrative team. All the best, Mark Winn\-Ritzenberg

Martin and the team were truly exceptional. We had used them for repairs of our old system and they earned our trust by not selling us services we didn't need \-\- or charging us for trips to fix something again. So we asked them to quote this major new system job, and they were a class act from bid to install: candid recommendations of which systems would be better for us, what we didn't need, etc. The install team were the most polite and friendliest bunch of guys we've met in any context in a long time. They even loved our obnoxious dogs! Easy to work with, would trust them with the keys to my house any day, and quick and efficient workers who cleaned up not only after themselves, but also after the other contractors working in the house at the same time. Can't say enough good things about Hecox.

Hecox sent a knowledgeable technician to quote, answered my many questions in the quoting process, rescheduled when the weather conditions were unsafe for the rooftop installation rather than putting their staff at risk, modified the install on the fly to fit space available and were extremely tidy. I found Hecox via Washington Consumers' Checkbook where they are highly rated.

Excellent service and installation of our new Carrier unit

This is a top\-notch HVAC company. They got everything done with a furnace and A/C replacement in a timely manner and explained what they had done well and answered my questions.

The service experience was excellent. The product they recommended works beautiful and the whole installation experience was the best.

Timely, polite, professional professional service

The Guys were very professional, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Hecox is a great company with great people. This project was the second time I've used them. The first time was in 2018 for a rental property I own in Washington, DC. The staff are professional, know what they are talking about and don't try to "sell" you. They lay out the facts, options, and costs and let the customer make an informed decision. The installation staff are professional and courteous. I'm really pleased for a second time!

HECOX HOME SERVICES is simply the best. From start to finish, the whole process was seamless. And I think they gave us a very fair price for the amount of work involved in a complete HVAC install. In addition, I think the Carrier equipment will give us many years of good service.

Easy to work with, responsive, polite and all around wonderful. I would highly recommend them. Pricing was reasonable as well.

We have used this dealer since prior large dealers had inept workers required to sell.

Hecox is knowledgeable, prompt, and service oriented. The technicians know their stuff.

Hecox Home Services was on the ball from the start. For a fair price, their service went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with our decisions and comfortable in our home. Bonus points for communication \-\- they're incredibly responsive via email.

Hecox did a great job of replacing my 38 year old boiler. They had to overcome some weird previous configuration in the process

The folks at Hecox Home Services are very prompt, thorough and practical with the information they convey. My wife and I found them extremely friendly, professional and honest. With Hecox, we felt we got direct, candid answers and they approached our service needs with pragmatism and efficiency in mind.

Gayle and team are an excellent, knowledgeable can do team. Love working with them and getting their input on our projects (including HVAC install).

Prompt, friendly and fairly priced.

Great people

Very knowledgeable, price seemed fair, response time and communication was great

Very pleased with installation provided by Hecox Home Services. Have been using them for many years and always impressed with their knowlege, thoroughness and courtesy.

Removed oil boiler and put in propane gas boiler.Great contractor and experience.

Gayle and his son's are exceptional people! Old fashion values and great common sense! Trust them completely!

From getting a quote to getting the new HVAC/furnace installed, dealing with Gayle and his crew was a breeze. Everyone working was polite. After the install, the new tech was explained patiently to us. I am glad to have the Hecox crew on my side should I ever need them, and I'm glad I chose them for this project.

Gayle is the best! I have been with him for the last 10 year. I would recommend him all the time.

My installer suggested this product. It is by far the best product that we ever had. I highly recommend this line.
