Cheaper, less powerful outside unit was delivered to my house and about to be installed before I intervened. Ladder rung on my folding attic access stairway was broken as heavy parts of old HVAC were slid down the ladder. A simple cut-to-size piece of plywood laid over the stairway would have prevented the injury to my property. I wonder about the tales told of how it broke. It was necessary to shut off gas supply briefly as new heater was installed. Doerle did not offer to relight my gas water heater pilot light. I struggled mightily to get the pilot restarted. It did not even occur to me that pilot would go out although it should have. I expected better for $20000 and I am still suspicious about what caused the wrong outside unit to be sent to my house. I have had 2 service calls and am well-pleased with how Doerle's mechanic handled them. Pricing on the second call was fair. I am happy with how the unit worked in Year One.
