Discount Heating found a compatible Carrier AC unit in an emergency situation, my old unit crashed during a heatwave. Install was next day and done in a couple hours. The guys were courteous, quick, clean, and efficient.

Our village building inspector disapproved our installation because this vendor did not install "tamper resistant locking valve covers on a/c condensing unit valves" as required by code. Today, Discount Heating \& Cooling said they did not know the 10 year old code and will not complete this $9100 HVAC installation unless we pay an additional $70 cost for these required parts, yet they admitted they've done "hundreds" of installations in our town. This is poor customer service.

The estimate was emailed to me shortly after the visit. Answering my questions and concerns in a friendly and reassuring way. The instillation was in a week from the visit. The installer was clam, knowledgeable, and did a good job.

We needed a new furnace quickly, as our old unit failed during a Chicago winter. I had used Discount Heating before, so I called and they had a replacement ready to install the next day. They swapped the units quickly and with courteous, tidy, and professional service.

Professional Choice

I have used Discount many times over the last 20\-25 years and they have always provided excellent service at a fair price. When I had a concern about an issue, Doug (one of the owners) called me back right away and alleviated my concern. I appreciated that (so I wouldn't be sitting around wondering).

Discount Heating and Cooling does not discount service, knowledge and professionalism. I got same day installation when my air conditioner died overnight. Kathy and Steve in the office could not have been more accommodating. Gary, Tyler and Jack installed my new air conditioner. They were friendly, professional and very clean. I could not expect any better service.

Came in and I barely knew they were here. The UV light didn?t work when it was installed and the owner brought over a new one right away. They cleaned up afterwards.

Very impressed with our experience with Discount Heating \& Cooling. We had worked with other companies in the past, and they just don't compare to Discount. We replaced multiple units, and from the very beginning working with Steve, all the way through the installation, we only experienced professionalism. Everyone was so knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. We were impressed with their attention to detail and organization\- everything went very smoothly. Also loved that we received user manuals/handbooks, thorough proposals/invoices, and follow up information (product registration) without having to ask\- they were prepared at every stage in the process. Our units have been installed for a couple weeks and are working well. We look forward to working with Discount Heating \& Cooling in the years to come! Truly the experts in this field.

It was a difficult job to replace the 50 year old air handler and add some duct work because it's all in an attic with a shallow pitched roof. They were responsive to our calls and emails. The new system works great. I would hire them again with no hesitation. We used them last summer to replace the condenser fan that shorted out and they were the only people who answered the phone on a hot weekend and could give us an idea when we could get someone to come out to fix the 50 year old AC.

Gary, Tyler and Steve did a great job, modifying ducts, re\-using what they could. The new furnace works great and has many new features to provide the best heating performance.

Gary, Tyler and Steve went above and beyond on the coldest day of the year to install my new Carrier furnace. They did a great job, modifying ducts, valves etc. as necessary to ensure that the furnace could operate optimally. So far, I am really enjoying the new furnace.
