The furnace was not working. They failed to come out after being called multiple times and it took several technicians to solve the problem. They promised they would install a new thermostat and never installed it. After I posted negative review, they offered me $100 discount on something they told me they were going to do for free.

They left such a mess in our home and made no attempt to clean up after the installation. Some of it stained the carpet and walls which is permanent.

Bought a/c and heater. Once installed, neither worked correctly as the fan was on super high and couldn’t be lowed. The techs left it like this. Next tech couldn’t figure out why the fan was so loud and couldn’t lower it. Third tech came out and finally fixed it. It was a simple app that controlled the fan. Why didn’t the “highly trained professional installers “ know this?

During our annual check up, ABC noticed that there were some issues with the heat exchange so we made the decision to replace the furnace. During the sales process, ABC made it very attractive to us to also replace the air conditioning unit, so we did both, and then decided to add the Respicaire Oxy 4 Air Purifier as well. The team that came in to install the equipment were great. There was a couple things they couldn't get working so the following business day they sent out a technician who did an outstanding job with resolving the two issues. We love the new unit \- it is so quiet \- and the air purifier is making a difference in the air quality. We highly recommend ABC for your heating and air conditioning needs.

We originally called for a repair. Tech was brutally honest about cost vs. worth. At that point we called for a quote on a new furnace. Sales guy was terriffic. Offered us several different options. We chose the middle cost option and still get to take advantage of all the great extras that ABC offers. Furnace is working great! Couldn't be happier :)

Came out promptly in the late evening when old system failed. New system was installed the very next day.

Furnace is to noise, technician adjust the flame to the factory settings and we got a decent heat, if technician lower the noise in furnace, then we don't have enough heat!! The heat never reached to the thermostat settings.

After having two other companies out for an estimate, I received the 2023 Best Pick Reports for the Western Suburbs. ABC was one out of two companies listed. They came out provided excellent information, very informative and I trusted what they said. They mirrored some of the advise and explained why other suggestions from competitors were not valid. I was able to take advantage of the BOGO sale and install a full heating, cooling, and humidifier system at a very reasonable price. Installation was professional, thorough, and removed all the old units. We are extremely pleased.

I wish I could give them a 5 across the board. The only reason I gave a 4 on service was that it took 2 return visits to install the heating strips in my unit. The initial installers and service (Brandon \& Brendan) were AWESOME! They also realized our electric service wouldn't handle the heat strips normally put in so smaller, yet effective, ones were needed. The next visit I had to call to see when they were coming and when they arrived the tech wasn't sure why he was here. That was a bit frustrating. The third, and final visit, got the heat strips installed and all is well. Just felt the 2nd visit should have resolved everything. Our sales person, Joe, was great and help identify the need to replace our 52 year old unit! ABC is good and I'll use them again.

After choosing the units and setting an installation date, the chosen a/c unit was found to be on a backlog. ABC made the offer for an upgraded unit that was a better choice for the resident. Upon using the unit, I have found it to be exactly what was needed. I am happy that I decided to branch out and change to ABC and purchase Carrier units.

I feel that we did end up with an outstanding AC and Furnace but the ad for BOGO (buy one and get one free) as well as the "Free Financing" did get me to contact ABC but the reality was that we paid full price for each unit and if we went with with the "free financing" there was a considerable up\-charge \- which in effect means we would be paying for the financing. I did secure two other bids and the price per unit cost came to about the same amount $$ which validates ABC inflated the price for the AC which covered the cost for the "free" furnace. With that said we did go with ABC based on their expertise and 10 year parts AND labor coverage \- even though,

ABC HVAC were ready and willing to try to fix our 17 year old Carrier AC unit with a bandaid\-like fix but we opted for full replacement. ABC had our new unit installed within 24 hours of identifying the problem.

Unbelievably excellent service from the moment they arrived. They worked for 12 hours straight without a lunch break to complete the job in one day. It required custom fabrication of ductwork and installation of the HVAC furnace in a small closet where the previous one was. The new unit was physically larger however so it required quite a bit of custom fitment.

This was the worse experience ever. I paid upfront over $9500 for a complete HVAC system just to find out they installed it without a permit and they install the incorrect unit for my home. I was in the process of selling my home and moving and had to find out about the permit on my own after getting the run around about an inspection for 3 weeks. Finally got the system installed correctly and it is supposed to have a 10 year transferrable warranty which was an incentive for buying the house just to find out now that I want to transfer the warranty that it is now reduced to 5 years instead of 10 which makes me look like a liar to the people to purchased my house. Please do not use ABC Plumbing because they do not operate with integrity.

Could not get a call back from my sales rep. Never got warranty information as promised.

I am excited about my Carrier AC Unit better fir from 2.5 tons to 3 tons basedbon my square footage

Signed a contract and paid for a 95% heater and they installed a 90% heater. When I noticed and confronted them about it, they tried to say they are the same. The installers were good but the company needs to install what was agreed upon in the contract. I wish I would have hired someone else.

ABC took the necessary steps to insure that the installation of my new Furnace and A/C on April 4 was done right. Several days after, another Technician was sent to check both equipments for peak performance and efficiency.

Other big player in town ghosted us, apparently because it was going to be a difficult install. ABC saw the same issues but got it done and done right. Super flexible dealing with paperwork needed for roof access and even though it was a tight squeeze the walls in the hallway didn't reflect that at all.

All was addressed by ABC and now waiting on the warranty paper work and certificate from Carrier for the materials that were installed and paid for during the replacement.

1. Our vinyl siding was singed during the installation of the air conditioner. Only after asking about it was I told what happened. (NOTE: This could have been avoided if they had put a piece of plywood between the house and the air conditioner during the installation.) I was told that a picture of the burn mark was taken and sent to the office. We have not heard back from anyone at ABC. 2. There are glue spots on the basement floor where the furnace piping was assembled. (NOTE: This could have been avoided if they had placed a cloth or cardboard on the floor where the gluing was done.) 3. I was under the impression that our new thermostat would have large text \& numbers to make it easier to read. Although the current temperature is large and easy to read, the rest of the information is small and, for old eyes, difficult to read. When I asked if this was the correct thermostat, I was first told that an upgraded thermostat (T6 vs T4) was installed. I was then informed that the T4 was installed per the order. I was then told that he would have someone from ABC come out to the house to show us possible thermostat options. We have not heard back from anyone at ABC.

They arrived right on time, and did a wonderful job installing my updated hvac system.

My installers were very competent.

They did not show up for appointments; Did not call to explain; Delivered damaged equipment that subsequently had to be replaced; Did not return phone calls, text messages and eMails asking to speak with a member of the management team; sales rep effectively abandon me; Service rep would not put me in touch with management team; They did not follow my service requests or adhere to local building codes. The original installation date was September 7. The work was not completed until October 3. These people simply do not care. I am happy to speak with someone and share details and correspondence at any time.

The unit is nice and cools appropriately. However, I had to call them to come back, as the drain pipe from my evap coil was leaking water into my furnace. The new person who came out redid the piping and fixed the leak. Therefore, I can't give 5 stars.

The agent sent to make the quote was very personable and knowledgeable and described the different options available very well. I received my quote and got installation right away.

Completely overpriced and lack of experienced people!

Furnace install was sloppy. Hole was drilled on side of furnace centemeters from the heat exchange and covered up by a ABC magnet. Jbox was placed on the top of the furnace next to the vent and stuck out in the walkway. Vent leading to the chimney was also sticking out in the walkway. Damper to the humidifier was removed and discarded with my consent. It took three separate calls to ABC to get these issues resolved. Two techs were sent that said they don't have the equipment to fix the issues even though it was noted in the service call notes. I now have 6 holes drilled in the furnace that shouldn't had been. One week after the repairs I noticed today my humidifier is not working and there's a leak coming from the pipe below the humidifier that is connected to the stack. It smells like sewage. I will be calling ABC tomorrow to come back out to fix these issues.

Two months and the install is not finished. If you are looking for someone to not return calls, leave garbage in your yard and give you the runaround for months, they are the guys for you. Not one problem has been addressed and no one follows through on the project. Better off to call anther dealer. Equipment is high quality, better off using another installer.

Courteous installation crew came out and installed the system within a day. Very satisfied with the whole installation process.
