I just had 2 new HVAC systems installed in my house. The whole process was easy. The quote for the systems was good and within the range I expected. On the lower end actually. The installers arrived right on time (8:00 am) and got started. Both systems were installed by 4:00 pm. There was a little issue with the thermostats I had, but the installer worked through it, figured out the issue and we got things going. All work was done cleanly and in the end, I just need to run a quick vacuum to pick up a little insulation from the attic. We are very pleased with the work done.

While the product was installed and works great, interacting with the tech (Jason) was never pleasant. He complained about how big the house was, how much wire he'd have to run, even argued with me about what I agreed on with the sales rep. Every interaction was unpleasant and I considered asking for a different person just to have someone I could communicate with.

Vincent and Alan were my installers. They were excellent! Both did a wonderful job! Vincent was very experienced and knowledgeable about a complete installation of the furnace. I was so impressed by him. He was very polite and took the extra steps to make sure everything was done with quality parts and installed correctly. Their clean up was thorough and neat. I would hire them again in a minute. Thank you so much!

Great competence and service

Our experience from the first call requesting a Sales Rep to discuss a new Carrier Mini\-Split System installation through the final install clean up could not have been better. All E. Smith Reps were on time, professional and most courteous. Is was a pleasure to have them in our home. We are now enjoying our perfectly cooled Sun Porch and looking forward to it warming the room for fall football watching.

We have been customers with E. Smith for over 40 years. During that time we have had 3 Infinity systems installed at our homes. They are quiet and very energy efficient. E. Smith provides excellent maintenance and is very responsive when a warning or update is needed. I would highly recommend E. Smith Heating and Air to install a new Infinity system in your home.

Techs did a great job! Everything looks very neat and organized. The only problem was not all the correct piping was loaded on the truck so it slowed the job down a bit.

Overall I am happy with my new units. Was supposed to take two days to install two complete units, but two techs got it done in about 5 hours. Felt like they rushed a bit, after supervisor inspection, they had to come back and fix a few things. Just gives the impression that labor is marked up quite a bit. New condenser units seem a little louder than my old units, but are working great. Looking forward to see how they function during the winter. Overall I would recommend E. Smith. I was very pleased with their quote, compared to others that tried to sneakily "lease" equipment.

This was our first time having to purchase a new AC system, we were very nervous about the experience \& how much it was going to cost. Derrick was great, he answered all our questions \& was very professional. The price was reasonable \& the service and the customer service was exceptional!!

I loved their communication. I was followed up with throughout the process, given a time they would arrive (5 mins earlier than expected), they were very neat, courteous and efficient. They made sure I was happy with their service and asked a few times if I had any questions. What you agreed to is what you received.

E Smith has provided HVAC service for my parents, brother and my wife and I for some 50 years and we have never been disappointed with their service. As usual, the staff with whom we dealt were helpful and prompt and the technicians who installed our new A/C were friendly, considerate of our time and property and did a professional job. I was more impressed with the installation crew, Henry and Shawn, than any HVAC crew I've ever had. They both were friendly and courteous in addition to knowing the equipment and business. The installation went quickly and everything was cleaned up properly.

So far my experience with E. Smith has been excellent. From responding to my messages thru the installation of a new heating and A/C system. I would highly recommend them.

I requested bids from Highly recommended local dealers for Carrier, Trane and Lennox for a 14 SEER system to replace 20 year old 8 SEER, go with existing Lennox furnace. I had severe balance problems and the Got three quotes from highly recommended local Carrier, Trane, Lennox dealers to replace 20 year old upstairs AC mated to existing 8 year old Lennox 80% gas furnace. Had major balance issues and no comfort anywhere upstairs, worst was large master suite. Reps for made good recommendation to upsize one supply, but Earl Houghton, with 40 years vast knowledge, recommended multiple changes, including replacing a horrible cobbled together return air plenum that was killing air flow, all at the best price. Henry Evans and Tsuan did an incredible job doing the work. I am now getting roughly 40 percent more efficiency , comfort in every room. Allowing the return air to flow smoothly into the furnace made such a noticeable huge increase in air flow that two older, narrow spaced return grilles were vibrating at a 500 hz harmonic. Quickly replaced them for $7 each at big box and good to go. Would have given up old unit years ago if I knew what Earl and Henry could do for us!

Very professional

Derrick quickly came out and gave me a quote on a new system, I had 3 other quotes at the point and Derrick was the only one that didn't try the hard sell me a more expensive system. He listened to what I wanted and needed and suggested a system that would meet our needs. Henry and crew showed up on time and began the install right away, dismantled my old 25 yr. old lennox system and installed the new Carrier system with zoning for a finished attic space. Space became an issue when it came time to put the zoning duct work into place, but Henry quickly worked out a solution and finished the install with zero issues.

I choose this company because of their solid reputation and they fully meet my expectations!

Installation very professionally handled and hopefully the service will be just as good.

Good experience

The unit was installed, but the installer neglected to turn the gas back on. They had to return to figure out why the unit was not working. A 30 second instruction on how to program the thermostat is certainly not sufficient.

Although the problem with the A/C has not been totally resolved, Ryan has been very attentive to the problem and has done everything he could to solve it. The men who installed the furnace were very efficient, very neat, and very polite, and it was a pleasure having them in my home and leaving everything neat and clean. The furnace is working fine, and I really appreciate their professionalism and their courtesy.

E\-Smith has been good and we will continue to use them but there have been some little things that have come with this installation that have led to the lower score for solving problems. E\-Smith is very professional and trustworthy and I do recommend them.

NO PROBLEMS. GOOD SERVICE

Air conditioner feels great gland the technicians were knowledgeable and professional

ESmith was very up front with their assessment of the cooling coil. The service TECK took the extra time to evaluate if there truly was a leak in the coil. Once approved to install the new coil the work was completed within one week. (This occurred during 90 degree heat for 10 days) We were not without AC during our wait to install. The installation techs were courteous, professional, and cleaned up when they were finished. I would recommend ESmith if you want a good HVAC company serving you.

New install

Had a service tech (Cody) come out to do a furnace inspection,a dn he noticed some issues and parts that needed to be replaced. since the cost of the parts and the age of the existent furnace didn't make sense, he quoted me for a replacement unit and E Smith was able to get the unit replaced the next day. I've been with E. Smith for the past 8 years after having problems with another company. They have been there every time I've needed them and expertly fixed my heating and a/c problems. I just bought 2 new units and the installation was a breeze.

Derrick, Kent and crew are all great to work with. We have completed 3 big projects with them over the past couple of years and will always use them for other project and recommend them to neighbors.

Installed anew coil in my air unit

Installation took less th. 3 and 1/2 hours.

Henry and Allen arrived slightly before the scheduled installation time neatly dressed in a clean vehicle. They worked together seamlessly and efficiently with friendly attitudes. They covered the carpets in traffic areas to avoid getting them dirty and wore shoe covers when they had to go to other areas of the home. When asked to remove pipes related to the previous old system, they did so with a pleasant attitude. We could not have been more pleased with the professionalism they displayed.

Replaced 12 year old Rheem with Carrier. Great experience with E\-Smith from initial call through install. Very happy with new equipment and E\-Smith. I will use again when 2nd system needs to be replaced.

Replaced part in equipment installed by E. Smith 18 years ago.. Problem was identified during routine inspection. Salesman came out quickly and the replacement part was installed when we requested. Same salesman that sold us the original systems !
