Completely met our expectations

We've had several issues with this system. (If this were a critique of Carrier, I would be much more harsh!) Many of them have been resolved but not all at this time.

Guys did a great job.

Listened to me about what was important to me! Installed the equipment with the things I needed, alarms for leaks, standard size filters, and accessible components. Did not harm landscaping, floors, or walls. Made sure I understood how to use the system.

I was very happy with the professionalism and expertise of the Mills team. They installed my system, added the smart thermostat, and ensured everything worked correctly before leaving. I would highly recommend this company for any HVAC needs.

Excellent service and results

When I relocated to Florida 3 years ago, I needed a maintenance provider for the two HVAC units in my condo. A friend recommended Mills and I'm glad he did. I have used Mills for annual maintenance and, based on my positive experience in that regard, used them as one of the candidates to replace the two units this winter. Mills was head and shoulders above the other HVAC companies.

Our Comfort Consultant Paul came out and addressed all of our concerns and even found things other people missed. The installation crew of Ethan and Mike T. were a delight to have in my home and their expertise shows in their work. I couldn't have had a better experience. Plus I got a $2,000 Fed Tax credit with the high efficiency 2\-stage Heat Pump.

We got the unit in reference to our old unit going out we have used Mills Heating and Air for a while. They are always fast and prompt at getting the service completed and recommending the best equipment for use! We wouldn't want to use anyone else! We are also very happy with our new Carrier unit they recommended!

I was truly impressed from the beginning with my original call and all the way through the process.The install crew was very professional, extremely courteous and informative The best installation experience I have ever had. This is a reflection of good management throughout the company.

First off, we were fairly new to the area Duour annual A/C inspection, by another company, we were told we needed a new heat pump and air handler and they gave me an estimate. We were new to the area but I thought the estimate seemed high and I checked with others in the area they recently replaced their A/C. Mills was recommended by one of the maintenance people for the condo we previously rented. I called Mills and within a few days Rick Campbell, the sales consultant, came to our condo and provided the estimates. He gave us 2 equipment options and was always available via his mobile phone or email to quickly answer any questions I had. The estimates were lower than their competitors and I felt the Carrier equipment had a much better reputation. The installers Craig and Ferb, arrived on time, said it would be a 1/2 day project and it was. They put drop cloths down on the carpeted areas and vacuumed the tiled areas when they finished. Before they left they asked if I had any questions and answered all that I had. From start to finish my experience with Mills was above what you expect and hardly get nowadays and I definitely recommend them.

MILLS Heating \& Air was extremely fast and efficient! Within calling to set up a consult to getting my new unit put in the whole process was seamless. I was provide with four quotes that my house would run and given a very detailed break down of each. There was no pressure on me to make a choice right then and there. After comparing quotes from other local service provides Mills was not only the cheapest but also the most thoroughly in their report. This gave me the confidence to use their service and I'm happy to report the house is sitting at a cool 72 degrees down from 87 degrees. Big thanks from this Florida Local! my a/c quit on Sat. Sep 26, a service man came the same day. he said my unit was not repairable and had to be replaced. i got the quote on M0n.Mon. Sep 28 and the new unit was installed the next day. Now that's service.

Paul was knowledgeable and personable. He pointed out some other things we could do in our attic to improve air flow and cut down heat transfer. His observations were spot on, and the crew that installed the unit experienced and quick.

Did not replace copper lines that were damaged as I requested. They were repaired. Also would not give extended warranty as requested on copper repair beyond one year. So, if repair leaks after one year we will have to replace copper and Freon.

Mill's was responded to our needs promptly, even in the midst of Hurricane Michael. We are very lucky to have not been effected by the storm. Mill's was quick to get to us with a quote, get the installation scheduled and had a great mechanic on the job for install.

The unit was installed with no outside damage but had a cracked drain pan. Mills was quick to respond, but I question the QA process at the factory.

Easy breezy fast

Paul was highly knowledgeable \& saw things we never would have thought about, such as our vents were not efficient \& the furnace cabinet was contributing to the noise of our current unit. Other estimates were lower but not one saw/suggested the things Paul did. We did have to contact the office for our inspection which should be the offices job but that is minor. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Its never fun to call the AC guys, but Mills makes you feel like you are getting the best service at a fair price.I have used them before and its always the same great service

We replaced both heating and Air Conditioning. The service technician was able to diagnose our problem, then discuss repair cost vs replacement of an aging system. Installation of the new system was done by a different crew. They did a great job. Careful of our house . Explained all to us.

I contacted Mills Heating and Air for general service/inspection shortly after moving into a newly purchased 11 year old home. Making an appointment by phone with Jessica , the Office Manager was effortless. Chris , a Mills Service Technician, came to the house within a few days of contact and thoroughly inspected the entire interior and exterior HVAC system. It was evident that he was an expert in his field. He knew the equipment, what checks were required and then clearly explained his findings and my repair/replacement options. AT NO TIME did I feel pressured by Chris or overwhelmed with information that he provided that would help me make a good decision. He patiently walked me through my options and made sure that I understood his findings. He told me that if I decided to replace the unit, he would initiate contact with the installer. An informed decision was made and the entire HVAC system was replaced. Within 24 hours of Chris' visit I received an email from Jackson White, General Manager with a detailed estimate of equipment and installation costs. Upon acceptance of the bid, I had an installation date within 5 days of my initial contact with Mills. Having just moved from California to Florida, this response time is unheard of! Jackson then worked closely with me to assure that the timing of the installation would work with my schedule. On the day of installation, Craig and Josh arrived, introduced themselves and then went to work. Craig replaced the unit inside the house while Josh exchanged the outside equipment on the roof. Both Service Technicians were experts in their field. They worked tirelessly from the moment they arrived until the job was finished, 6 hours later. They were an excellent team and consummate professionals respecting and protecting my home. Even when things didn't go as planned, they problem\-solved effectively and sought additional advice when needed. When they were done, they made sure I understood how the system worked and the ongoing maintenance requirements. Everyone on the Mills Heating and Air team were committed to their product, extremely knowledgeable in the inspection, installation and functioning of the Carrier HVAC System and dedicated to provide exceptional customer service. Jessica, Chris, Jackson, Craig and Josh are excellent representatives of the Mills Company and Carrier Products.
