The installers went above and beyond what they had to do in accomplishing the replacement of my heat pump and air handling units. The lead guy Malcolm was particularly a stickler for addressing imperfections in my system. He and his team corrected a number of deficiencies they noted as the installation effort proceeded. Cleaning up dirty conduit, cleaning out the drain line, cleanup of the heat pump skid, replacing a section of bent/mangled ductwork in the attic, etc. They were at the job early and they worked quickly and efficiently at performing the job ... including correcting the various system deficiencies that they noted as they worked. Overall I was very impressed with the work ethic of the workers and with the quality of the work. Hopefully they are well paid, because good quality conscientious workers are getting harder and harder to find

Fortunatly, the weather had cooled for a few days and we had a portable ac unit used during hurricanes with a generator. The company we had been using for years told us it would be at least a week. Every person we came in contact with was professional, calm and informative, we Florida really appreciated that. Way to go Bay Area AC!

I can honestly say I have never had a bad service call nor annual check\-up experience from Bay Area A/C, Crystal River, FL These folks have responded in a very timely manner for all routine service calls. When I've had problems, they have always responded within 3\-4 hours of my call. Pricing is mid\-range, yet I feel as if I'm always their immediate and only concern. There has only been one service call in the last 17 years where the individual exhibited any hesitancy, but was immediately on the phone talking with in\-house support, got the support he needed, and proceeded with an expert correction to my issue. I have just last week upgraded my Heat\-pump to the latest "High Efficiency" model, and it was installed when promised, very professional done, and no debris left behind. Instructions on the new system were thorough and on point, and to date, I'm very pleased with the operation of the new system, not to mention it runs on 40% less power requirement, and does a much better cooling and heating job.

I really do like Bay Area Air Conditioning. From the start, they have been nothing but professional. This starts with the office personnel, salesman (Patrick), the two installers (Matt and ?), and a follow up appointment from Glen. Bay Area Air did fall short in one area, knowledge of the product in the form of the dimensions. The air handler that Bay Area installed is much larger then the one that was replaced. As a result the handler is hanging lower and is blocking a large cabinet of my wall from opening. I cannot open one side of the cabinet doors. The cabinet is too big for me to move it by myself. I will have to hire someone to come out and move the cabinet and refasten it to the wall. I think the salesman should have caught this when doing the initial consultation.

Mark and another gentleman worked tirelessly in hot weather to take out the old coils and blower from a tight attic space plus carefully move ceramic tiles in storage out of the way. The installation of the new coils had to go up narrow attic wooden stairs and again, they were resourceful to get everything up the stairs and installed without a hitch. BayArea is fortunate to have two outstanding professionals proudly representing this company to the public. Without hesitation, strongly recommend BayArea Air Conditioning to anyone needing a new air conditioner!
