My previous Carrier heat pump was nearing 15 years old and was starting to have trouble cooling my house during the July heatwave and so I called Cool Zone to have it looked at. They came out as soon as they could and discovered what was wrong, which was a lot, and so we discussed replacing it with a new Carrier system. They came back out by the end of the week with everything they needed and set to work. I was very impressed with their knowledge and ability and with the work they performed. They did everything that was promised and I think this installation was excellent. The new system is running really well and it is very quiet too. I like my Carrier equipment and will continue using Cool Zone to maintain it. Thank you very much.

I had a 12 year old York HP (Heat Pump) which was noisy (both outside on the roof and inside) and could not handle the high heat of Arizona nor work that well when the temps dipped into the 30'sF. I knew it was getting close to its life span when I had refrigerant added in the summer. Here we are in mid January in the Phoenix area and the HP seems to be low again in refrigerant! I was not going to call the same outfit I had used in the summertime because they had not paid attention to my request that we revisit their pricing for a replacement in the winter. Their initial price for a new unit in the Summer of 2023 was very high. Likely because they were greedy and the demand for units at that time of year. I was so surprised when I called Cool Zone AC \& Heating on a Sunday and I got a live person who offered to send a Tech out that afternoon (at a "Sunday" rate) or on Monday. I had no issue with waiting for another day and accepted Monday morning appointment. Justin called me on Monday morning to say he would be there in 20 minutes. We met and discussed the issue and also the likely resolutions. He got to work on the roof and then met with me again in about 45 minutes. Refrigerant was low again. No obvious sign of leakage near the compressor. He provided me pricing for 3 options:A) add refrigerant, B) Check for leak and possible fix and add refrigerant, C) Replace the unit with upgraded New Carrier with a much higher Seer rating and quieter. I was very happy to get a price for a new HP which was not a Trane, but much better than the York unit I had. And a whole lot better than the prices I received from a different vendor in the past summer and a better unit too! The good news kept coming in. I could get 36 month no interest (for a small charge \- but worth it!), I would get the new Thermostat that would connect to my Wifi and to my utility company (optional if you want it). Plus Cool Zone could get the new Plenum attachment and the roof stand built overnight and delivered with the new Carrier unit for install the next day on Tuesday! On Tuesday the team of 2 installers arrived at 9:30AM and got to work tearing down the old unit, The crane arrived at 11AM to lift off the old unit and lift up the new Carrier. By 12 noon another truck pulled up to pick up the old unit and the old plenum attachment and Unit stand. By 1PM the new larger, quieter Carrier HP was up and running. We now have a stronger air handler that pushes the air into every room of our house getting heat where we never felt it before! I also can tell how more efficient the new unit is by how well it raises the temperature in a very short time. It has taken a few day to learn how to program the new Ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium, but now I am able to program it for a lower temperature then what I had been using on the old York HP. More Efficient, better Air Handler, more control on the temperature set backs and thresholds with the new Thermostat, and so much quieter inside and out! I have my Maintenance and warranty package and I am looking forward to staying with Cool Zone for as long as we are in this house! Great People and resaonable prices!

Cool Zone installed an Infinity zoning system on my home, and from first meeting/walk through the install and follow\-up, the entire team's expertise and professionalism was absolutely top\-notch. Their knowledge on what it takes to transform an aged minimum efficiency system/infrastructure to support a high efficiency, ultra quiet system that offers constant comfort. If you need a system service and especially if you need a new system, give this dealer a call ASAP to explore your options!!!

Techs took their time to explain the problem that caused the old system to fail, options for repair or replace, options for new systems, and explained everything they were going to do.

Cool zone is the only way to go when it comes to any ac needs! We had our system go out right when temperatures hit 110+ in Az. Called them out that day and they were out next day. Our unit was done and had to be replaced. They left us a temporary ac unit for our room so we could get by until install was completed. Cool zones crew was very informative and answered all my questions I had or concerns. The install was so professional and looked so excellent once done. Our house is now nice and cold and ready to get us thru many more summers to come in AZ. Thank you cool zone for our new carrier and great customer service!

This is the second installation that I have engaged Coolzone for. Not only are they extremely friendly and responsive but have an exceptional attention to detail and pride in their work. I have never had any type of install until this one that I would describe at attractive. Clean equipment line runs and precise placements. Much better than the original equipment installed by another dealer when I purchased the house. Coolzone not only arranged to install my system sooner than the other 3 companies who bid on this project but they provided the best pricing and found a way to get me an upgrade. What David and Danette provide sets them above their competition.

You know they say you see the real person when things go wrong. Well, install did not go well and the team I had stepped it up. They busted their butts and got everything right in the end. Never once heard them loose temper even though I would have if I were in their shoes. Only reason I'm giving them a 4 is because the stand (roof mount) and elbow were incorrectly made, and out of their control.

This was my second job with Cool Zone. Three years ago I had them come out to a rental unit I own to fix a non\-operating AC unit. They replaced the filter and got the system up and running again with only a standard visit fee. I really appreciated that they didn't take advantage of an urgent situation. Three years later, I now have used them to replace a 14 year old unit. My tenant called me on a Wednesday morning saying the AC was out. The temperature was expected to be well over 100, and my tenant is a woman with a daughter. Not to mention her daughter's sleepover party was scheduled for Friday evening! I called Dave at CoolZone that afternoon, and they were at the house the next morning. Dave and his team diagnosed the problem, and even came up with a temporary solution to get my old unit up and running the same day of their diagnostic visit (they installed temporary freon, but also said they could put in temporary units if needed). The short term fix was a complete success, so that my tenant was safe in the heat, and her daughter's sleepover party was a big success Friday evening! Financially, if there was a delay, it could have cost me hotel expenses to put them up. This could have quickly added up to $500 or more. My tenant said the team that came up was very efficient, and completely professional. She was impressed. And I am thankful for their creativity, quality and efficiency. The complete new system was installed withing three business days (plus a weekend) from my original call. The price for the Payne unit was very competitive. It was $1700 less than a quote I got from another recommended vendor for a fancier unit. They gave me credit for the initial diagnostic visit, so there was no charge for that, or for the temporary fix. All in all, a great job. Highly recommend Dave and Cool Zone.

Exelent customer service

After a lot of research, I accepted a quote from this dealer for two new 2\-stage HVAC systems for my home, which included two 90 BTU furnaces. On the day of installation, I was told that I received a free upgrade to "more efficient" furnaces. Months later when I first needed to use the furnaces, the temperature control in my home was horrible, and ultimately, I found out that 110 BTU furnaces were installed (same efficiency). After several months of being uncomfortable, extra service appointments to try to get the systems to operate better, additional research to try to understand what was happening, and many e\-mails with the dealer about the issue, the 110 BTU furnaces were removed and 90 BTU furnaces were installed. As a result, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this dealer.
