I have not been happy with the heat pump. I have had to call Washington Energy out to repair it twice already and it has only been 8 months since installation.

Works great and saves me money. No more gas usage.
Fails to blow heat 10 am to 2 pm some days

Some days the thermostat calls the system to blow heat but it fails to blow heat between 10 am and 2 pm. Hasn’t needed to blow heat since May so no test of that since May. Sandium relocated sensor to inside of roof-mounted fan but that hasn’t been tested yet.

Installed in 3Q 2026 along with Carrier 59TP6C060 furnace to replace very noisy, oversized 5-ton system. Works like a charm. Cools quickly. The noise reduction is striking as he operation is whisper-quiet compared to its jet-takeoff-sounding predecessor.
