i-Vu® Weather Add-On 3.0

The ADD‑WTHR‑HRLY add‑on enhances the i‑Vu system with ten‑day hourly weather forecasts and real‑time outdoor air quality data. It supports smarter control strategies by using temperature, precipitation, wind, and pollutant information to help buildings adapt to rapidly changing environmental conditions.

i-Vu® LDAP/Active Directory Add-On

The ADD‑LDAP add‑on lets i‑Vu authenticate users through LDAP or Active Directory, using each operator’s i‑Vu username to locate their directory entry. It applies configured search bases and filters to validate users, and once enabled, leverages existing network security for credential management while still allowing optional local operators in i‑Vu.

i-Vu® Automated Demand Response Add-On

Carrier’s Automated Demand Response (OpenADR) add‑on enables secure, automated communication between utilities and the i‑Vu system. It receives demand‑response signals and passes them to i‑Vu controllers, which apply demand‑reduction strategies to connected HVAC equipment. Participating in these programs may help lower energy costs or qualify customers for utility incentives, depending on provider offerings and implementation effectiveness.

i-Vu® BACnet® Scheduling Interface Add-On

Carrier® i‑Vu® add‑ons expand the capabilities of the i‑Vu building automation system.
The BACnet Scheduling Interface add‑on lets third‑party event management software write BACnet schedules directly to i‑Vu, enabling mechanical equipment to run based on scheduled events. It streamlines operations for facilities using a central event calendar, integrating comfort and lighting control through the i‑Vu system. Operators can also manage these schedules from the i‑Vu user interface.

i-Vu® Microsoft® Exchange Scheduling Add-On

Carrier® i‑Vu® add‑ons expand the capability of the i‑Vu building automation system. The Microsoft® Exchange Scheduling add‑on connects Outlook® room reservations to i‑Vu using Exchange Web Services, automatically writing reservations into the system. These schedules drive heating, cooling, and lighting based on room use, improving comfort and supporting energy savings.

i-Vu® Trend Export Add-On

The Trend Export add-on allows you to specify, manage, and export trend data from the i-Vu building automation system so that it can be analyzed externally using third party analytics packages or tools. Trend data can be exported on-demand or at scheduled intervals.
