Pretty good

App is too slow to update current heat and setting

Heater does not turn on when the desired temp is entered on thermostat

On 8/11/25, my new heater unit was installed. But, the heat does not turn on when the desired temp is manually increased to a setting 1-2 degrees above the current room temp. Only when temp setting is 3+ degrees higher, than room temp, will the heat turn on. The owner’s manual says, When the room temperature drops below the temperature selected on the thermostat, the furnace will switch on automatically. When the room temperature reaches the setting selected on the thermostat, the furnace will be automatically switched off. Technician came out and said that the thermostat has 2 temperatures: the actual temp and the displayed temp. The displayed temp was reading 2 degrees low, so when the display read 68°, it was really 70°, so if I set the temp to be 70°, nothing would happen (since the house was really already at 70°). Tech had to adjust the thermostat display reading by +2°. This is very confusing and does NOT follow the owner’s manual.

Unexpected Lack of Quality

2 years and things still not totally right. Replaced a 20year old unit that was leaking but see no difference in this Brand new unit as it relates to performance.
